    What Once Was Perfect

Loved it Loved it Loved it! Read #2 in Wareham series first and enjoyed it so much, I purchased every Zoe York book published through ebooks the next day! Zoe you are my new favourite author! The story line is continuous and full of emotion and drive. Can't wait to read your other books but know I have to pace myself!

FOUR 'YOU ARE MY EVERYTHING' STARS!

This is the second story in Zoe York's Wardham series. It's a typical small town in Canada where everyone knows everyone else's business and gossip is like air. But with all of that, people care about each other, neighbors help out neighbors and people fall in love. Laney Calhoun and Kyle Nixon fell in love very young. Too young it would seem as Kyle didn't handle Laney's impending year long departure for grad school well. He broke her heart, and it wasn't until she was gone that he realized what he lost. But by then it was too late, Laney was entrenched in her new life as a surgeon in Chicago. Try as he might, he was never really able to move past his love for Laney. On the other hand, Laney has not tried to move on to another relationship. She avoids emotion, keeping all her encounters with men monogamous but casual. She believes love is a useless emotion that will inevitably lead to heartache and pain; thanks, but no thanks. Laney returns home for Christmas, and sees Kyle. She is surprised by her feelings and decides to have the long needed closure conversation with him that they both need. Only that conversation goes much better than either expected, and they embark on a very hot fling. Now it's Kyle who needs to convince Laney to take another chance with her heart. Does Kyle convince Laney to take that chance? Will Laney be able to overcome her fears to embrace love again? How will they handle the long distance? Read this well written, steamy, small town, second chance at love romance to find out!

    Heart-warming love story

I really enjoyed Meg and Bo's journey of finding love through faith. I appreciated how the author captured the drama of love and romance without the need for x-rated love scenes. Looking forward to reading more novels from this author!
