Has TJ found his fish tank girl??

I received an ARC of 'What's Love Got to do With it' from the Emma, in exchange for an honest review. I couldn't wait to start reading 'What's Love Got to do With it', especially after reading book 1 in the "Somewhere TX: Bachelors" series. Also I wanted to read more from Emma Roman, as she hooked me in the previous book in the series. TJ Stinson, the playboy has a definite plan in getting his wife & baby, as his grandfather stated was needed in the will. Placing an add in the paper, he's interviewing ladies trying to find the person he could be happy marrying & starting a family with. Anna overhears TJ during an interview & decides marrying TJ would be the best way to get money for her riding school. I don't want to give too much of the storyline away, so I'll end there. OMG, what a story, this is a MUST READ for any readers who love a feel good read. It had me in tears at times, some parts were truely heartbreaking, but in others the characters had me going AWWWWW, out load. I devoured this book, I felt like I was inside the story when reading it. I can't wait to read what comes next for the Stinson brothers.

What's Love Got To Do With It

This is a very fun series, but the the romance here was a little too on again off again for my taste. Anna just can't seem to make up her mind about what she wants to do about TJ and her financial worries. I understand the being unsure part, but she keeps making decisions - starting to follow through - and then changing her mind. TJ wasn't the best of characters either, although he does redeem himself. He sets out to hurt and trap Anna at one point and I just had a very hard time liking her after that. It took a lot before I'd let him into my mind as the hero again.I'm sorry, but you don't get to take credit for saving the day, if you're the one that ruined it (purposely) to begin with. There is a lot of humor and fun. The brothers are a great bunch when you get the all together around the dinner table. I'd sit and listen to their lively conversation any day. And Anna has such a heart of gold that you will be cheering for her just about every step of the way. Only one brother left, and I can't wait to get to find out his story. *This book was received in exchange for an honest review*

    It’s love or nothing...

The fact that gramps is still trying to run things from the grave isn’t a new or unique plot. Even so, Emma Roman does deliver compelling characters that have you either wanting to clobber them or hug them. I really enjoyed Can’t Get You Off My Mind, the first book in the Somewhere, TX Bachelors series. I enjoyed What’s Love Got to Do With It? just as much. The idea that three multimillionaire brothers have to each find a bride and create a baby within a year of their grandfather’s death or forfeit their inheritance lends itself well to the possibilities of how each of them will go about getting the job done. What’s Love Got To Do With It? is about how TJ Stinson goes about accomplishing his goal. The Stinson boys lost their parents at a fairly young age. That doesn’t mean that TJ doesn’t recall the relationship his parents had or his drunken mother, not exactly an endorsement for the state of matrimony. Then he fell in love… and she died right after graduation. So, TJ has a plan… never fall in love. He lives his life as a playboy bachelor with weekend trips to Vegas on a regular basis. The only love he holds in his life is for his brothers and the housekeeper that raised them. So TJ has a plan… advertise for a wife willing to have a kid. Do it all by contract. Absolutely no reason there needs to be any love or romance involved. Then he starts interviewing all the bimbos who apply. It’s not until he is approached by a woman not even on his list that his interests are actually piqued. While she is definitely rocking the looks it’s pretty obvious she actually has a head on her shoulders… something rather questionable with all the other applicants he’s seen. Then he discovers who she is… things couldn’t be more perfect. He could provide the influx of money she needs to support her ranch and he’d get a wife he can actually tolerate. Everything seems a go… then she puts on the brakes. The only problem is TJ isn’t ready to call a halt to the exciting ride a life with Anna Granger promises to be. Anna Granger came from money, but with that money comes strings she wants nothing to do with. Recently she lost all of her funding for the rehab ranch she runs for disabled kids and vets. Now things are becoming desperate. So, when she overhears TJ interviewing applicants for a wife at the local diner she gets the idea to apply herself. It all sounds like the perfect solution. Marry TJ and have an endless source of funds to run the ranch. Then she hears TJ’s terms… she was all in until he said no to love. Well, she’s all out if there is no possibility of love. Granted she didn’t expect him to fall in insta-love with her… but to say right from the get-go “NO” to any possibility? Well, she wasn’t bringing a child into a loveless home. She’d been there and done that and she sure wasn’t going to do it to any child of hers. But TJ isn’t handing in the towel and he just keeps amping up his game. Anna is already a little too far down the road to love and not at all looking forward to getting her heart broken to bits. That leaves her with one choice… calling daddy. The connection between these two is hot. TJ is just a little deluded if he thinks he won’t fall in love. Anna, for all her background coming from money, is as down to earth as they come. She’s also suffered a few hard knocks in life. The road to HEA isn’t an easy ride and TJ and Anna will have to traverse a few bumps along the way especially when her past comes knocking. Thankfully all roads lead to love. So in answer to the question “What’s love got to do with it?” Everything! *****Reviewed for Xtreme-Delusions*****

    Wonderful love story

I absolutely feel in love with this story. It is so well written that the people just jump right off the page and into your heart. It most definitely pulled on my heartstrings. I laughed, got angry and even shed a few tears during this read. The two main characters come from different backgrounds. However, there are things in their lives that have broken their hearts in different ways. Will they be able to find a way to get past those things and move on? You will have to dive into the story and find out. But, for me, I absolutely could not stop reading this story. I had to finish it and could not stop reading until I found out what happened to them. I think the author has such an amazing, creative talent that it is wonderful to jump into the world of Somewhere, TX. It is definitely a romantic must read story. I can’t wait to read more from her.

What's Love Got To Do With It?

Loving a good challenge, TJ Stinson put an ad in the local paper for a wife and “baby mama” but his determination to get the job done may lead to a bit more than he was expecting in this exciting romance. Anna Granger decided that she’d be perfect for the “role” and the reader can’t help but be captivated as TJ and Anna learn that there is more to life than just prestige and money. The chemistry sizzles from the first meeting but it’s not as hot as the fireworks that flare from every page while these two try to work out their parts in this challenging romance and no matter how hot the passion is, they both have to deal with quite a bit of emotional fallout due to their pasts which has readers commiserating with each of them. These strong, charismatic characters steal reader’s hearts while moving them to tears and causing some spontaneous chuckles as well in this fast paced and smooth flowing plot full of suspense, excitement and romance. The romance between these two cause quite enough expectation and tension building all on its own but Anna’s dealing with some occupational issues as well which adds to the excitement, causes TJ to make a few missteps in his pursuit and brings a figure from the past who instigates a bit of excitement and turbulence as well. The intriguing events that take place in this courtship draw the reader in and refuse to let go especially with all vivid images that the well written scenes make come to life. Somewhere, Texas sure is a great place to visit for some romantic entertainment and sexy bachelors that get what they deserve and with Grandpa Stinson’s will stipulations adding so much chaos with the brothers there is never a dull moment to be found and I can’t wait to find out what happens in the next Stinson brother’s quest to find a bride before time runs out.
