  • Strong heroine

I loved this serie but this book is the best. Frankie is so strong that she is almost better than men with her intelligence although city girl. I want to read Hawk' story. Please Ms Sinclair hurry up.

  • What you see isn't always all you get!

This story had me on edge for almost the whole thing! I just knew, knew, it was going to be bad when the things that needed to happen, happened. I could feel Frankie’s frustration, concern, care, and worry, and I was right there with her. I could also feel her guilt as she fell for Bull, and I mean, how could you not fall for Bull. And Gryff, I mean, a more perfect dog could not exist for these two. A nice slow burn and then fireworks on the attraction and execution of said attraction. Then all the emotions, not that either wanted them, but they had to happen, these two fit too well for them not to happen. Then the thing happened, and relief, and concern, but more relief that things could settle. Then we really got to see the love between Frankie and Bull, how they complimented each other in way no other could. On top of all that, we got mention of a favourite character and visit from a most beloved one. Now, the build up of all that worry again for the next book, and putting those bad guys down for good!

  • Fantastic!

Cherise Sinclair never disappoints! A wonderful mix of characters, romance, family and action. The best part in returning to any of Cherise Sinclair series is “reuniting” with all the wonderful characters she fills them with. I’m always left eagerly wait I for the next instalment!

  • Family lies beyond blood bonds

I'm loving the Sons of the Survivalist series. It is such a departure from the Club Shadowlands series and Dark Haven series, but there are still strong men and equally strong women. Everything Frankie brings with her to Alaska - her loyalty, her complex organisational skills, her aikido training - in order to save her bestie, Kit, and her godson, Aric, from the PZ, make her the perfect foil for Bull, the big hulking bartender with a genuine heart. Frankie has so many secrets to keep but once she includes Bull, the degree of support that comes from the townspeople of Rescue and the offgridders who live outside the town help her understand that family runs beyond blood. I love the face-off with Frankie's family which proves to be an eye opener for these "beautiful" people. It's always great to see Zachary, even though it's a fleeting visit to Rescue, doing what he professionally does best. And have we had a hint of where Hawk's story might be heading, especially as we have a quasi-cliffhanger in terms of the PZ?
