  • A favorite and this is exactly why

The Devil and the Death series completely surprised and hooked me in a way few series every have. So of course when I started When Death Frees the Devil I was a jumble of emotions: excited for what promised to be an amazing book, sad that this would be the last time (for now) I get to tag along on Jack and Ethan’s adventures, a little anxious about what these two would have to endure to get a happily-ever-after, and a bit apprehensive it wouldn’t blow me away the way the other books/novellas have. For those of you thinking the same, fear not. This book is a sendoff worthy of all the action, explosions, high speed chases, and unexpected twist that have firmly situated the series on my list of top couples and favorite series. If you like high octane excitement and suspense with a slow burn romance that will make your heart ache at times and soar at others, I cannot recommend this series enough.

    Thanks for your feedback!
