    When Love Calls

After finishing When Love Calls by Lorna Seilstad a couple of days ago, I have to say, she is one of my new favorite authors. When Love Calls is packed with hilarious, sweet, and touching moments that made it impossible to put down. Having gotten it as a free e-book was also a definite plus. Hannah Gregory could not possibly be more independent. After her parents pass away and leave her in charge of their farm and her two younger sisters, she feels she must take care of them to the best of her ability, and without any help. Especially from the handsome lawyer who kicked them out of their house. What Hannah doesn’t realize, however, is that God—and Lincoln—are only trying to make her life a little easier, and her days a little brighter. Not only is When Love Calls relatable, funny, and full of romance, there is a mystery weaved through the center that will keep you guessing until the end. So when you’re searching for a novel that is suspenseful and knock-your-socks-off fantastic, check out this first book in the Gregory sisters trilogy, which gets a rating of—you guessed it—five out of five bookshelves.

    Quality Reading...

A great Christian love story of a man and woman and their love of God and "the Power of Prayer" with a little who-done-it thrown in.

    When Love Calls

When both of Hannah's parents die she is forced to leave her dreams of becoming a lawyer in order to provide for her younger sisters. Becoming a telephone operator seems to be the answer to her prayers. What she didn't count on was falling in love with the handsome lawyer who evicted her family from her parents farm. But her stubborn personality makes it difficult to accept and trust not only the young lawyer but God as well. Trying to find out God's plan for her life is a difficult journey for all involved. This is a great story with delightful characters who are struggling to find God's will for their lives. The historical story of the Hello Girls just adds extra charm to the story.

    Short & sweet, just right

I loved this book, the characters are believable & interesting as they are all so different. The story moves along quite nicely & as the book is novel length it can be expanded to fit in all the areas of the story. I don't like novellas very much so this is great. I will be buying the next two in the series.

    Breathing!

It's so amazing! It's not a classic romance love story, I love it because it learns you how to love yourself and your life with all of those ups and downs and loving the God who gave us that life.
