    A captivating read.

The latest "Banks" mystery is a captivating & enthralling read that will keep you guessing until it's conclusion. Although I found some of the content disturbing, I loved Robinson's development of the characters in the series. He also does a great job of creating atmosphere & tension and keeping the reader interested in the conclusion of the two police cases to be solved.

    When the music is over

A highly readable yarn and Banks Has a new twist. Although after reading (and enjoying) so many of Robinsons books it would be mean of me to say 'formulaic' most detective stories are but Banks is always a good read.

    When the Music's Over

Another great book by Robinson. Two crimes that may bring you to tears but keep turning the page to find out what happens in true Robinson style.

    A Bit Of A Letdown

I've been a Banks fan for years and while this outing was plotted well enough, the book was a disappointment. The excessive attention to musical detail came at the expense of the characters and felt like an attempt to disguise the lack of dialogue. And since when was Cabot so bitchy? There were rehashes of old events and little character growth around them. If you're a fan, by all means read it, but it's not Robinson's finest.

    He never disappoints

Two stories that twist and turn and just when I thought I had it figured out, not so much!
