Not to a tragic death, no she pulls through and he stays by her side for five months of recovery before she leaves him for Juilliard. A few months later she ceases all communication. The grief of losing Mia's family and now losing sends Adam into a tailspin of depression. Walking away from music and living. Sure he's still here but he just goes though the daily motions. • Loved it!

I couldn't put it down! I honestly can't remember the last time I started and finished a book in one day without taking at least one break. I didn't even do that with "If I Stay"! I loved the "song lyrics" at the beginning of each chapter. I could almost hear the songs playing in my head, and I could hear/feel Adam's pain and heartache. That was a great touch! Powerfully written, I was laughing and crying. I can't wait to read more from Gayle Foreman!

  • STELLAR

This sequel to 'If I Stay' is quite a work of art. Though the beginning is very boring, so you will need to power through it. Other than that hiccup, this is an amzing book. I would not recommend reading it if you do not like books that make you tear up. If you do end up reading this novel, I hope you enjoy it!

  • Great read

I thoroughly enjoyed this book from how well it was written, to the story line. A great second book to an even better first book of "If I Stay".
