    FOUR 'LOVE YOU, BABY' STARS!

This is the third story in the Wardham series by Zoe York. A quintessential Canadian small town, where everyone knows everyone else, gossip is the norm and love is in the air. Zoe York has crafted a wonderful small town setting with a truly likable cast of characters in which the reader quickly and easily becomes invested in. Karen Miller is at a crossroads in her life. Ten years ago, she left college suddenly, abandoning her dream of becoming a librarian, to run her parents' grocery store in Wardham while they retired. A decision she has been regretting since plans for a library expansion along with the retirement of the town's long-time librarian are coming to fruition. Paul Reynolds is new to Wardham. He's a divorced, single dad to 10 year old Megan and the new officer on Wardham's police force. He is also Karen's neighbor, and while their attraction to each other is unmistakeable, it could not have come at a worse possible time for either of them. Paul has decided to focus on his relationship with his daughter and being a dad. Karen has resolved to return to college to finish the remaining year she has left on her degree. But for Karen, this decision will require her to leave Wardham for a year. They try to fight the attraction each has for the other, and opt to settle for friendship, a friendship that is frustratingly charged with unresolved sexual tension. Eventually they can no longer fight it, and they succumb to one night of passion. It's better than either anticipated and it also has each of them pondering the "what ifs." Paul is especially moved to action, and he plans their first "real" date. A family emergency has him helping out Karen in ways no one ever has before. Do they take a leap of faith on each other? Can they work something out about Karen's impending departure? Does the town's new cop find love with the town sweetheart? Read this steamy and sweet small town romance to find out.
