    Thanks for your feedback!

How does Christie keep doing it?

While I like Poirot, Marple, and Tommy and Tuppence quite marvelously, it's always wonderfully refreshing reading Christie's 'one off' titles with protaognists that don't appear anywhere else. You'd think that there are only so many ways one author could put together mysteries featuring different 'young adventurers' without coming across as same-y, but Christie continues to be delicously and intriguingly original in Why Didn't They Ask Evans? It's a simple, not entirely novel but still intriguing premise ; man dies and asks the dramatic and seemingly nonsensical question featured in the book's title before dying. Police believe accident, but it's actually a murder; cue the ameteur sleuths, the charming pair of friends Frankie and Bobby. Not saying any more for fear of spoiling, but it's a delightfully light-hearted, cozy, and enjoyable mystery, and certainly not to be missed.
