    3.25⭐

This was a good, sweet, easy read. That had likable characters and little angst. Plus, a story that for the most part held my interest. However, I was never really sucked in and I struggled to connect with and feel any chemistry or a real connection between the two main characters Van Gogh and Clover. But I still enjoyed reading it, and I'm sure fans of the series will too. **I was kindly provided with an ARC by Entangled Publishing in exchange for an honest review**

    Fast-paced and hot.

3.5 Stars Review by Heather Late Night Reviewer Up All Night with Books Blog Wicked Design by Tina Donahue is part of the Wicked Brandseries and I’m definitely intrigued. The books are standalone, but the characters are fun and a good blend of kink and “normal” to be very relatable. Clover Dasleigh is a strong, independent woman trying to get her jewelry business off the ground, while also trying to get the attention of Van Gogh. Van Gogh is “the hottest guy she’d ever seen” and he just doesn’t know that she exists. What Clover doesn’t know is that Van Gogh not only knows she exists, but he is just as captivated as she is. Van Gogh is a tattooist at Wicked Brand, whose real passion is painting. He’s just too shy and insecure to speak to the gorgeous woman who inspires his art. Who is going to make the first move and get this romance going? Clover and Van Gogh fall into a hot and heavy romance quickly and then have to deal with the realities of actually learning about each other. Can their passion sustain them when real life, ambitions, and past insecurities clash with the present? Wicked Design is fast-paced and hot. It felt a bit rushed when Clover and Van Gogh get together and maybe a little forced for them to discover their mutual kink. A little more of the storytelling from later in the story at the beginning would’ve made their “coupling” a bit more realistic.

Lost souls find their anchor in one another.

Received a copy of this book for an honest opinion. Van Gogh has always felt like he wasn't good enough. He was raised in an upper class family, and his current career path of a tattoo artist has never been respected, but all he wants is for people to like him. Van thinks he's not attractive, that is until Clover a girl from a nudist colony does anything in her power to get Van's attention! Clover's attempts for Van to notice her seem to not be working. Eventually Clover's attempts are noticed as she also is an outcast in the world. The passionate chemistry between these two soon is on FIRE! They can't resist each other for long! I definitely recommend this book if you enjoy reading about two lost souls finding their anchor in each other! Their connection had me fall in love with both of them. Such a great read!

    Wicked Design

Clover and Van Gogh (V) are two strong, enchanting characters that stole my heart, both vulnerable and courageous, both shy and daring, both immensely sexual and playful. They were easily related and drew me in and refused to let go until I had read every part of their story, some of which was sweet, some was so hot that flames were pouring from the pages and some was heart breaking, so the story made me feel a whole lot of different emotions throughout the story including some chuckles. Not many romances show the male heroine as vulnerable as this romance does and I it was also very realistic with the situations and events that took place, especially how someone not used to attention and suddenly getting it might react and behave. Tina Donahue always brings her wonderful characters and delightful world to vivid life, so visiting with the characters of Wicked Brand is always a treat, but I might just have to say that Wicked Design is my favorite of the series. And let me tell you that I could definitely picture the ink, that V wore and the jewelry that Clover made, so I am wondering if cuffs like Clover Cuffs really exist.

This is great as a standalone and next installment

These two artists use different genres to express their talent. Ones a tattoo artist the other makes edgy jewelry. After a year of admiring each other and not only for their art, they finally hook-up. And find their deft attention to detail takes their sexual encounter to a level neither has experienced before. It's definitely wicked. They are both striving for acceptance in the art world. When Van's ego gets stroked he pushes Clover aside. Will they once again make beautiful art together? Read this unconventional romance and see for yourself.
