Kristen Ashley just keeps on getting better and better How would I describe Wild and Free? IT'S TOTALLY WILD AND FREE!!! One advice that I can give you before you read this is... Free your mind! Open up to more possibilities and never let your imagination run low while reading this. It's a must because this right here is a masterpiece! Abel and Delilah are destined to be together. From start to finish, that is the main point. Let me try break it down: The characters... Abel is a kind of character that is part bad-ass, part gentle and part wise. Bad-ass ➸ I think it's a given fact that all KA heroes have this characteristic. Gentle ➸ I tell y'all... When Abel is gentle, he's SUPER GENTLE! I expected him to be very gentle with Lilah... What I didn't expect is him being so gentle with his family too (his umm.. mom and brothers). There's an innocence in him that just gets to you as a reader. His lack of understanding of what he really is taught him to tread carefully in life and never let anything threaten his family. He thinks he's a monster, but he's far from it! My favorite scenes are the ones wherein he discovers that he's worth so much more than he thinks. I personally think that if I'm Delilah, I would also love and cherish those times. :) Wise ➸ I think he got this from the family who reared through out the generations. He also got this from his years in this world. I like it when he explains things to Lilah. :) Delilah is a character that you think you'd write off at the start. She just didn't shine that much to me when it all started. However, I promise y'all... YOU'D APPRECIATE HER as you read on. She's strong, she accepts change, she's concerned, AS IN SO CONCERNED about other people. Strong ➸ Her dad's a biker. How stronger can you get when you're surrounded by bikers since birth? ;p Accepts change ➸ She doesn't only accept change. She welcomes it with open arms! He meeting Abel and being with him in a span of days is crazy if you think about it too much, but it's supernatural! You wouldn't even bat your eyes. However, you'd think that she'd fight it some (the destiny that is), but no... As a reader, I felt that Lilah really waited for this to happen. It was what she was hoping for, so when she go it, she grabbed on tightly, swift changes be damned. I like that about her. A LOT. She's concerned ➸ She cares for people deeply. I love that she has one hell of a support system. She needed it for this book to work. Her friendship with other people got her through the hard times, but I would also like to say that her being a friend is a good thing for the other characters. First, she's fun. She's fun to be around with and never beats around the bush. She gets along with Leah and Sonia for sure! Second, I love how she thinks of Abel first. She's a person who'd think of others before herself. It's a good trait that all humans should have. I appreciate that in her. Now onto the story... What happens when a couple meets for the first time, finds out that they're destined for each other and then become major players in a war that they didn't even know existed? That is what y'all should find out here! I had a really good time reading about Abel and Lilah's roles in the war. The love part is downright perfect while drama is just... T_____________T so memorable. I remember crying and just crying for the beauty of it all. There were lots of tear-jerker scenes (in my opinion, since I cry pretty easily when my heart is being touched). It's refreshing too because among all the books of KA, I think this one has the most epic war scenes and by far, is the most action-packed! Once again, my "FREE YOUR MIND" advice applies. There were A LOT of unexpected twists and turns, but it all turned out good. I loved reading about the other two couples. I love their short POVs. It gave me a glimpse of their lives. I love knowing that the couples I rooted for are doing quite well given the circumstances. The ending is satisfying, I breathed a sigh of relief for all of them and I'm very happy because finally... they can live the rest of their lives together. It wraps up all the other characters nicely too. I'm happy for Leah and Lucien, Sonia and Callum, Abel and Lilah and umm... YURI! Haha! See? Are you more intrigued now? Please be intrigued and read it! It's worth it! It's worth the wait, worth the money and worth the effort! Awesome, awesome story! :) Definitely a 5!!!

  • Good Ending

Amazing how much was packed into this book...almost too much! It was a good ending to the trilogy and I recommend it for all the characters brought so visibly to mind as well as an interesting plot.

  • Nobody does it like Kristen Ashley!

I get hooked after sentence one with her. And honestly I don't regret ever picking up her books. Every time I think 'well she's covered it all now!' She comes back with something else to keep me on my toes. Love her strong women and her stronger men. Love her real talk and her humour. But most of all I love the way she puts it together, how she turns unsavoury into lovable. And when she wraps it up, she gives just enough to beg and keep coming back for more.
