    Wild Side is wildly satisfying!

Wild Side is the ninth in Mari Carr's Wilder Irish series, the next generation of the beloved Wild Irish series, all set in Baltimore, MD, at Pat's Pub, under the loving and devoted care of the owner and family patriarch, Pat. It's about Layla, whose recent move to the city heralds a fresh start for her, and a new leaf turned, away from the sometimes overly watchful eye of her four older brothers, and away from a meh relationship that had gone past its expiration date. She's ready to sow a few wild oats, to live a little, or maybe a lot ;) When she reconnects with her childhood friend, Finn, and then meets his best friend Miguel, it seems like the perfect setup--some scorching hot together time without the involvement of expectations of long-term commitments. Until feelings are engaged... and Finn and Miguel and Layla need to figure out whether one plus one plus one equals zero or maybe infinity and beyond. Mari Carr does it again in this fantastic addition to the Collins clan universe. Finn and Miguel's rock solid friendship is tested not only by their changing feelings for each other but by the addition of Layla and her carefully held emotions. We have the pleasure of seeing Pat and the other Collinses as well, although the focus is squarely on this trio and their personal walk on the wild side. The truth is that love changes us and can change how we see ourselves and how others see us. Ms Carr reminds us of this as we see Finn, Miguel, and Layla struggle with discovering their true feelings and finding the courage to hold onto those we love. Wild Side is a wildly satisfying read.

    Great addition to the series

Finn is the sweetest, kindness, most loving, half-witted fool! There, I said it, I love that man, and Ioved him in this book, but really, get off your butt, as his family had to tell him, SEVERAL TIMES, to go and get what you want! It only highlights all of his wonderful traits in the simple line he speaks “What am I going to do with the two of you?” Miguel is an absolute genius, no, really he is, he utters the most important line in the book. He is patient, methodical, and scared. He could lose it all, or have it all, with Finn, and Finn is being no help, until he is. His genius moment, when it could all start or stop, and he utters “I think the three of us should sleep together.” Layla, LJ, was fun, witty, adventurous, and so utterly confused! I got the woman’s drive, her reasoning, but like her, when ya got the goods, why back away?. Of course, this all leads to an encounter where I was seriously worried Mari had been lured to the dark side by the bad influences that surround her, but she ended up being her wonderful self. Just don’t do that again, hmm, ‘mkay? Of course, we all know who is falling next, because he utters the wise words “Not going to lie,” Colm said, “I thought you and I had the best shot at dodging the curse. Turns out it got you twice. ….. thing is tenacious.” 😉

    Hotter than Hot!!!

One of my favorite queens of menage is at it again! While this author writes a wide variety of tropes, some of my very favorites that she has given to us has been her menage romances. They never fail to make the relationships portrayed seem more like real life, than taboo. And this is one of the most beautiful! I thoroughly enjoyed this trip on the wild side! Layla is having a life crisis. Recently out of a very boring, long term relationship, she has decided to let loose, discover who she is and what she has been missing out on. She moves back to her childhood home, realizes her dream of having her own business, and then decides to work on her personal life. Finn is ......confused. He has feelings for his friend, Layla. But his best friend, Miguel, has feelings for him. He's never had feelings for a man before. And he isn't sure what to do, or what he wants. Miguel, on the other hand, knows what he wants, but not how to go about getting it. This book is just HOT! Explosively, smoking hot, call the fire department hot, surface of the Sun hot! Layla, Finn and Miguel burn the pages up of this book, but that's not why this book is so amazing. Their connection is amazingly perfect, and almost effortless in it's simplicity. Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of confusion, and drama, but there is no denying how perfect they are together. I absolutely adore this series, and Wild Side just adds to the amazingness of this family!

    Amazing

Wild Side is book nine in Mari Carr's Wilder Irish Series. I have read all the Wild Irish and now the Wilder Irish Series, I have been hooked on this series from book one. I can never get enough of this wild, caring and tight Collins Family. Wild Side is a MMF menage book. Layla, Finn and Miguel compliment each other perfectly in this super steamy and CASUAL read. Layla is looking for a casual relationship and she finds that and more with Finn and Miguel. Like always Mari Carr has delivered a super steamy read. Definitely do not miss this read, it has all the things that make you come back for more.

    Love and friendship

This is one of my favorite stories from one of my favorite families. Layla and Finn are old friends who knew each other before her family moved away. They reconnect when Layla moves back to Baltimore. Miguel has had feelings for Finn for years but never acted on them because he didn’t want to lose the friendship they shared. Layla owns a coffee shop which is robbed one night. Miguel, a police officer arrives to investigate. Soon both realize there is a spark there. There is a problem though, Layla also has feelings for Finn. Unbeknownst to Layla, Miguel and Finn already know each other. Conflicted feelings, family, robberies and realizations all make this a story that pulls you in. Once again Mari Carr has a hit on her hands. I love this family and look forward to the next book in the series.
