    You Must Read This Book

OMG, it cannot get any better. Christine Pope’s Winds of Change, The Witches of Wheeler Park Book 3 is the continuation of this wonderful series. Adara Grant thought she could hide in a remote town under the protection of the local Native American Tribe but the plan was not successful. She was abducted in the middle of the night by the man chasing her, and brought to an underground government testing facility. Jake Wilcox had to do something to get her back under tremendous odds of success. What ensued was a plot to get Addie back along with the other orphaned witches being held there as well. It seemed an impossible feat for Jake and the Wilcox Primus to perceive a plan that would ensure they did it right. The heart stopping journey of such a rescue will take you where your imagination could not fathom. This is a must read along with the other two books in the series. Christine Pope is a phenomenal author and this is just another fantastic book and series to her credit.

Never a miss with Christine's books

Never a disappointment with Christine Pope's books. Thunder Road is the second book in "The Witches of Wheeler Park" series, this books picks up at the end of the first book. Addie is hiding for her life, while Jake is doing everything to forget about his encounter with Addie. The story is one that just kicks you in the feels as you read about Addie and Jake's separation. The writing is great and characters get more development as the story moves. It's a great follow up to the first book. I did receive an ARC, but this does not affect my thoughts or opinions.

    Another masterfully written paranormal

If you have followed all the previous witchy tales by Christine Pope, you will absolutely love this newest adventure. It’s kind of a family reunion! Angela and Conner are on board to help out Conner’s newly discovered half-sister, Addie, escape, not once, but twice from a secret Homeland Security installation in the DC area. Remember Bad Blood? New to America, other witchy immigrants that were in New York, prior to the Wilcox Clan moving west.. Ahh yes, certainly there is a tie in! You know how magically Pope weaves a tale. Put together in an awesome suspenseful, with a little bet of romance thrown in, story line, Pope again has us reading late into the night. If you remember, Jeremy and Jake created Trident to locate “orphaned witches,” and make them aware of their unique ancestry , as well as, help them understand and use their gifts. Angela and Conner have their work cut out for them when more than a couple are being held as “guests” by homeland security. At the same time Addie has the near impossible challenge to convince the director of the project that he is himself a warlock. A perfect read for Sheltering at Home or just getting away from it all, Book 3 Witches of Wheeler Park

    An enjoyable action-romance.

I enjoyed this continuation of the Witches of Wheeler Park series. I started with Book 1, continued with Book 2 and now have finished Book 3. It was interesting following the characters as they become each other's "fated mates" despite many forces trying to pull them apart, including their own denial or misplaced efforts to protect the other. It's not a fast-paced novel, but reads well. There is a lot of relationship tension in addition to the dangers they faced. Both Addie and Jake are kind, generous, and loyal. They always try to do the right thing.

    Good unlikeable villain

This is the continuation and conclusion to Jake Wilcox and Addie Grant’s story. I understand there will be additional stories in the series and look forward to them. I found Jake and Addie’s love story had the right amount of passion, romance and self-recrimination. I enjoyed Addie’s growth in her witch powers and ultimately taking control when she finds herself back in the clutches of Randall Lenz. Christine Pope does a great job of creating a really unlikeable villain in Randall Lenz. Not that he was totally evil like some other villains just really unlikeable. I sure hope he isn’t redeemed in a follow up story. I also really enjoyed the glimpse into Conner and Angela’s lives and their contribution to this story. I received an ARC of this work in exchange for an honest review.
