  • Very Good Series

Wining and Dying is the tenth book in the Cookbook Nook Mystery series, and it continues to be an enjoyable series. I continue to find this to be an entertaining cozy series, and look forward to reading more books in the future. I certainly would recommend this series to those that enjoy cozies! I received a ARC from NetGalley and the publisher, and all opinions expressed here are my own.

  • Great one

Jenna Hart is one of 7 finalists in this years Art and Wine festival. The winner will get their art on next years festival posters. Quade and Keller Landry seem to be the favorites for winning but then Quade turns up dead and Keller is prime suspect. Jenna knows or at least hopes ,Keller isn't the killer. So she starts digging . What she discovers isn't what she'd wanted. She realizes she knows very little about her fellow Crystal Cove neighbors. Did one of them have a secret they needed to keep hidden? Can Jenna figure out who did it without putting herself in the killers line of fire?

  • Who doesn’t love a wine festival?

Jenna and Aunt Vera are ready for the wine festival. Books have been ordered, events have been scheduled and Jenna’s entry in the art contest is ready for judging. It’s the perfect event until one of the other artists is murdered. When Naomi becomes a suspect, Jenna realizes she has to help her friend anyway she can. With so many suspects the police have to do their due diligence, but Jenna knows a few of the suspects can’t be guilty and focuses on her own top candidates for murder. Will Jenna be able to help her friend or paint herself in the corner with a killer on her trail? This author is one of my favorite! I read all of her series and find her work to be most enjoyable. A solid mystery with plenty of red herrings and a strong female protagonist will make the cozy mystery lover a happy reader, whichever of Daryl Wood Gerber’s books you read! Give her work a read, you won’t be sorry.

  • Wining and Dying!

I loved this cozy mystery series. It's full of fun plotlines, and characters that I want to read more about. Jenna is one of my favorite sleuths. She keeps on finding mysteries and dealing with friends who turn into suspects. She also works with the police, and even though she figures out the truth before they do, they are respected. The romantic subplot is a juicy addition to this story. I hope the next mystery includes at least a part of the wedding of Jenna and Rhett. I received an advanced reader's copy from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

  • A most delicious murder.

Wining and Dying by Daryl Wood Gerber is another wonderful book in the Cookbook Nook Cozy Mysteries. I recommend it to anyone that wants a delicious and witty read. There’s always wonderful characters and delicious food in every one of the books in this series. While it’s great read in order there is enough back story to start right here!
