    Love these characters together!

In the continuation of her Seattle Bachelor series, JM Stewart takes us into the rollercoaster ride of finding hot, sexy love right where you least expect it! These characters are hot and steamy and I adored them together! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for us next with these Seattle Bachelors. Christina McKenzie has been in love with Sebastian Blake since she was in the first grade and he defended her from a schoolyard bully. No one knows of course … not Baz, not her twin brother Caden who is Baz’s best friend, no one. Sebastian Blake is feeling overwhelmed with emotions, and he can’t resist putting his hands on Tina. She’s too much … too sexy, too potent, too caring. He can’t take her kind of mothering when his world is coming apart at the seams. When they finally decide to stop fighting their desire, will they be able to find the relationship they each need out of this? She’s gun-shy, he’s a longer … but are they just what the other needs?

    Bargaining for Billionaire

A fun story . Her brother's best friend is known as a player. They both do not know what the other are feeling.

    Dragged

Repeated the scenes and dialogue and got boring. Hard to even come up with 100 to tell you about the book

    history and repressed feelings

The sibling’s best friend trope is one of my favorites and Stewart handles it so very well. I appreciate that things aren’t drawn out overlong – yes, it’s been simmering for years, but once the cats out of the bag things get rolling quickly. Sebastian has issues with relationships, thanks to his parents, so he’s already hesitant to get involved with Christina. Add in that she’s his best friend’s twin, that they all practically grew up together, and it makes a complicated situation even worse. But the death of his father has him experiencing all sorts of emotions and he lets down his walls, acting on his feelings … which could be the best or worst thing he’s ever done :) Having been burned by a player in the past, Christina’s not too anxious to let down her guard with commitment-phobic Sebastian. And she’s gotten real good about hiding the depth of her feelings for him. But when he starts with the full force of his attentions on her, continuing to resist gets harder and harder. I love these two together – they’ve got the history of decades of friendship, mixed in with repressed feelings now let out, it’s a chemical reaction just waiting to go off. But they never truly forget the love and respect they have for each other. Even in denial or full-fledged retreat, they still have that basis to work with. Friends to Lovers Romance

"Winning the Billionaire" is a great friends to lovers romance. I was hooked from the beginning to the end. You get an entertaining storyline with humor, sadness, and passion. As Sebastian and Christina struggle through this journey you feel the emotions and struggles that they are going through. "Winning the Billionaire" by J.M. Stewart is book number two in the "Seattle Bachelors" series.  The book can be read as a standalone. But I want to go back and read the first book since I loved this one so much. This is software mogul, Christina "Tina" McKenzie and playboy billionaire, Sebastian "Baz" Blake's story.   Christina and Sebastian have known each other since they were kids. She has always loved Sebastian. But he is off limits since he is her brother's best friend and a playboy.  Sebastian never does relationships to try to avoid being hurt. He has always wanted his dad's love and approval, but never seemed to measure up to what his dad wanted.  Christina and her brother are more like a family to him.  Sebastian has always been attracted to Christina but feels that she deserves more than he can give her. He also doesn't want to jeopardize his friendship with her or her brother. Sebastian is vulnerable due to the stress from his dad's passing and the stipulations of the will. So, when Christina pops in and tries to comfort him the lines begin to blur between just being friends and being more. Christina wants true love and is determined not to settle for anything else. She doesn't want to be another notch on his bedposts. I received a copy of this book from NetGalley/Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for an honest review.  FYI, includes mature content. This is a perfect book to read on a vacation or when you just need to get away for a little while
