    Entertaining read

The Goodreads group Read It & Reap provided a copy of the ePub in exchange for an honest review. Wolf by Crimson Syn is a steamy novella. Scarlett Chase is determined to live her own life by her own rules until she experiences car trouble and is stranded. She meets Wolf when he stops to lend his hand. Everything changes for Scarlett immediately. Scarlett is curious about the biker and agrees to work for him as his lawyer. Wolf soon discovers that he cannot be involved with Scarlett. The attraction is undeniable and unstoppable. The author cleverly shares their thoughts via their individual points of view. The primary and secondary characters have strong and distinct voices. This quick read is character driven. A perfect read for a lazy afternoon.

    Started out good

I really liked how Wolf started. There's attraction, but Wolf and Scarlett don't immediately fall all over each other. Strangely, the story began to to lose something for me once they did act on their attraction. From that point on, it felt rushed and just wasn't as good. I was also confused by the mention of Wolf's "inner wolf" looking for a mate, considering this isn't a shifter tale. It is a quick read, easily finished in one sitting. I just would've preferred a bit more development on the second half of the story.
