    Wow!!

•Wow! This may have been my first Lisa Kessler story, but it will NOT be my last! Luke left his Pack in Reno to take a job as the head horse trainer in Sedona Arizona. As not only the younger Pack member but the only one left that hasn’t found his mate, it was too hard to watch the rest of his Pack move forward with their lives while his was still in limbo. He never knew that finding a beautiful stand stranger on the side of the road would change his life. Raven needed to escape the Sedona Pack. They bit and changed her into a wolf against her will, now she needed to get to Reno and hope the Pack there could help her. However she doesn’t plan on running out of gas on a desolate party of the highway. Not does she know how to handle the sexy handsome wolf that comes to her rescue. Will Raven and Luke be able to stop the Alpha’s crazy plan? Or will they lose everything in the process? You’ll have to read WOLF MOON to find out the results of their journey. I have to say although this is the 7th book in the series I didn’t feel like I was blind while reading the story. However I WILL be going back to read the other stories because I want to know what happened. I’m also hoping there are more Moon Series books to come! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book via IndieSage through NetGalley in exchange for an honest blog tour review. Due to sexual situations, this book is recommended for readers 17 and older!

    Love that hero!

On her way from Sedona, Arizona to Reno, Nevada, to escape her pack, Raven Wood encounters literally a lone wolf. He is Luke Reynolds, the twin of rock star Logan Reynolds, of Logan and the Howlers, both are from Reno. Luke is in Sedona to work as head horse trainer at Valley Farms. The Sedona Caldwell pack is determined to wipe the Reno pack, led by Allen Caldwell, and they have Raven’s sister, Isabelle. Luke thinks Raven’s a ruse to trap him, until she tells what happened to her. Raven was bitten against her will; their Alpha is making unethical decisions, and Luke, ever the gentleman, takes Raven home with him. Raven and Luke’s relationship begins as a very comfortable friendship and I just love how kind he was to Raven, who had had a very difficult life up to then. Luke comes around quickly to trusting her, that she is not the enemy. He understands that Raven is in real danger, he will not let anything happen to her, because her pack Alpha is so ghastly and abusive. And she is his life mate, which he had despaired of ever finding. Raven’s and Luke’s is a very tender romance, very unlike any I had ever seen in a shifter romance. There is a lot of pack politics going on, and Luke and Raven face a very daunting task, as they are falling in love. WOLF MOON is so easy to read, before you know it, you’re halfway through the book! Ms. Kessler does a terrific job at building up the suspense, and when you think the action part is over, bam! Something else happens! While WOLF MOON is book 7 in the Moon series, it can easily be read as a standalone, and I do hope there’s a book 8 in the future! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

    #TeamLuke #GoWolfPack - Loved this one!

Just loved this book! I’ve been waiting to see what would happen to Luke and Lisa Kessler did not disappoint. Like the other books in the series there is a lot of heart, humor, and heat, but this one brings a darker, edgier tone as Luke must deal with an evil, twisted pack that holds his future in its hands. Luke…*sigh*…all he wants is to find his mate. He’s seen what finding a mate can bring and he wants to find his own happy ever after. He’s also seen what not finding a mate can do to a wolf – not something he wants to even think about since it hits too close to home. Luke has been a great supporting character in the previous books in this series – always loyal, puts the pack first, and always there for everyone, especially his twin brother, so it was great to see him finally step out on his own and look for his own future and happiness. Of all the characters in the series I’ve always thought Luke was the most emotional one…and when he finds his mate that emotion ramps up to alpha conditions and he is one driven wolf – driven to protect and free his mate from Caldwell’s pack as well as doing whatever he can to protect his Reno Pack from the threat of Nero. Of course trying to balance out all that alpha and not putting himself and Raven in even more danger is not an easy task. Raven could hold her own. Even though she’s had a tough life she is still an optimist at heart, and meeting Luke has given her that spark of hope she needs to believe that things might just work out. I love the way she’s always cracking little jokes, bringing a smile to Luke’s face even when they had to face some really awful things. I love how the story arc is progressing and the tie in to Caldwell’s pack added a great dimension to this story and the series. Although we didn’t get to much time with the characters from the other books their presence was felt – especially in his phone conversations with his alpha, Adam, and also with his twin Logan. Although this is part of a larger story arc of the Moon series, this can easily be read as a standalone without anything being missed in the story. Of course I would recommend you start at the beginning to meet the entire Reno pack and understand the larger story arc…but then again this is one of my favorite series! Definitely check this one out – for that matter, any Lisa Kessler book is worth a read!

    All Action and Emotional

Luke Reynolds is the only unmated member of the Reno wolf pack. So, he has decided to go out on his own for a while. Helping the young woman who ran out of gas is second nature to him. Raven Wood is desperately trying to get away from the Sedona pack. If only she can get up to Reno before her alpha finds her, The evil alpha is is growing his pack in a very bad way and terrorizes most of them. He is also in league with someone who wants the Reno pack destroyed. An all action and at times emotional story, with very strong characters. The ending is not what I expected. This is part of a series but easily read as a stand alone. It will tempt you to get the others. Also with all the new characters we meet I'm hoping there will be many more stories to come. I'm addicted.

    A taste of kindness

Patience is a virtue. The last man standing alone is done feeling like the odd man out. Luke leaves his pack in start of a new adventure. It isn't ideal, his pack is home, but without a mate he'll always feel like he's missing out on something amazing. Then he meets Raven. The frightened woman on the side of the road running from something frightening becomes his everything with a single sniff. She's light and happiness and good times rolled into one beautiful body. He's found his forever, finally, but the madness she's running from just might send them to an early grave before they have a chance to reach for it. A single act of kindness can cause ripples of healing. Raven is a turned wolf. The life she once knew no longer exists. She has her sister, whom she turned so she wouldn't be completely alone, but they live in a world of misery and strife, where women are a commodity and treated as such. Her Alpha is a dictator, hell-bent on a creating a pack loyal to him and him alone, using and abusing those under his rule. This isn't the life she wants for herself or her sister. An attempt at escaping the hell she's in puts her in Luke's path. He's unlike the males of her pack. His kindness and compassion and caring make her yearn for something she's never known, calls to her lonely wolf's soul. But even more stunning than what she feels when she's around him is that undeniable pull she feels toward him. And that claim that he's her mate? She's had her fill of what a "mate" is and isn't sure she wants him. But little by little, piece by piece, Luke mends his broken mate. He goes above and beyond by promising to protect her and her sister, and then making good on it. He shows her how good their life can be together. He gives her countless reasons to love him and to accept his love in return. The turnaround is beautiful to watch. The conflict they are in the middle of pales in comparison to how much Raven grows and comes to terms I haven't read any of the other books in this series so I'm not sure how Nero figures into them. There is a light touching upon of that subject, and I get the feeling it runs a lot deeper than this story hints at, but the focus here remains firmly on Luke and Raven. This story is easy to read. It isn't too complex or dark. Ms. Kessler does a great job making her characters black and white. You'll know who to love and who to hate. This is a great story if you want something with action, suspense, and heartstrings-tugging romance. 4.5* Complimentary copy received from publisher
