    Loved it

The second book in B.J. Harvey’s latest series was just as good as the first one and if you haven't had a chance to read Work In Progress do yourselves a favour and one click that one then do the same for Work Violation. I loved Ronnie and Jax when they were introduced in the first book, and all this book has done has made me fall even more in love with the Cook family. This series is a great example at RomCom writing at it’s finest; there is nothing that I did not enjoy about this book. From the first to the last page I was all in with Jax and Ronnie. Ronnie has fought against her families smothering and is now pursuing the career of her dreams, leaving behind her life as a high powered lawyer. For Jax, he has js become part of the renovations team led by his brother Jamie, whilst teaching some courses. When Ronnie and Jax first met, the sparks were immediate and yet they have both done their best over the last 12 months to avoid each other and keep their desires under control. All that changes at Jamie and April's engagement party and what transpires was such an entertaining read that I couldn’t put it down Work Violation is a laugh out loud romantic comedy with lots of heart and family who love and support one another and those they love with every part of their being. It made me feel good book and I could not wipe the smile off my face whilst reading. Not only was it romantic but the steaminess at times was smoking hot. What a fabulous book and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

    😍 Jaxon 😍

Whelp, it’s obvious these Cook brothers are all going to just grab your heart and run with it. And Jax, well he has proven to be quite swoon worthy 😍. He’s the whole package, sexy, charming, funny, and just filled with so much heart. He’s had his eye on Ronnie, April’s best friend, for a year, but didn’t do anything because he didn’t want to potentially “rock the boat”. Turns out, Ronnie, a vivacious, strong willed, intelligent woman who just decided to change her career & life, has her eye on Jax too. Needless to say, this leads to quite an interesting back and forth if you will, game on so to speak. But boy was it an awesome ride. I loved Jamie. I really loved Jaxon ❤️. Can’t wait to see what the next brother has in store for us!!!

    Fun, steamy, and touching

I am enjoying this series. Here, Jax and Ronnie have steam together but must hold back because of circumstances. The humor in all the interactions between characters was great. I love how the humor was offset by the true emotions the characters felt. It touched my heart. I received a copy of this story through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.

Jaxon, Ronnie and a Pink Barbie House

Once again BJ. Harvey does not disappoint, if you are familiar with her work you know she writes addictive Rom Coms that are just the perfect combination not too much rom but lots of the com... if you are new to her i highly recommend that you go check out all her books, I promise you will not be disappointed. Work Violation is book 2 in BJ Harvey’s Cook Brothers series, which can all be read as standalones, but to get the full scope of the wonderful characters that are in this world I recommend reading book 1 Work In Progress first. I couldn’t wait to read Jaxon and Ronnie’s story after meeting the both in ‘WIP’. You tell there was an attraction between them and I could not wait to see how their story would play out. The banter, tension, romance, humour, steam, swoon and surprises had me on the edge of my seat. Jaxon Cook is one of the twin Cook brothers who is a part time professor, and helps with his brothers construction business. He is sexy, smart and artistic. Ronnie is April's best friend who has just left her lawyer career to follow her dream. She is sassy and funny. BJ has done such a fantabulous job with these characters and world that I wish I could live next door to the Big Pink Barbie House... I think that this may just have to be one of the most enjoyable romcoms that I have read in a while. These two characters just clicked so well together, they didn’t waste any time by beating around the bush, the talked and had no misunderstandings between them. Also can I just give a mention to the rest of the Cook family and of course the almost 8 year old Axel... I just love these people sooo much. Thank you BJ for giving us these characters and can’t wait to see what you have next for us all.

    Romantic comedy at its finest!

This is romantic comedy at its finest!! Banter that is hilarious, you can’t help laughing and characters that make you swoon! Jax and Ronnie’s story was undoubtedly written with heart and soul with steamy moments thrown in!! Oh me oh my!!! That Ronnie is one very lucky lucky lady!! I absolutely loved everything about this book! The beautiful family and friendships, the sass, flirtatious and utterly naughty times just made this so incredibly fun to read and one of the best Rom coms this year! I am literally so excited for more of this series! I would so love to be part of the ever growing Cook family! So much love, so many teasing fun times and the best group of characters to read about! Such an absolute pleasure to read!
