    Great read

Loved it!! Enjoyed seeing Piper grow and spread her wings now that she's finally on her own. Dealing with her overprotective brother and working in a male dominated profession is tough enough but now she feels like she has to prove herself to her female partners as well. She's determined though and I loved that! Cole Black has his own demons to fight and he's probably the last guy Piper needs in her life but the draw is intense. He might be her brother's best friend but she's determined to get him to see her as the woman she is. Getting him to fully open up may not be so easy though. This was a great read and I highly recommend it.

    She ruined me

This is book # 3 in the Axle Alley Vipers series. This book can be read as a standalone. The stories told within this series make more sense being read in order. This will enhance reader enjoyment and understanding. Cole has been in love with Piper since she was 17 years old. He was also her brother's best friend. So he never acted on the feelings that are killing him inside when he sees her. Piper has always wanted Cole to see her. To just look at her, even once, with desire. In the space of one kiss, she finds out he wants her too. Can they put the past aside and make a future? This book literally killed me. It made me happy about romance again. I felt all the feels and enjoyed the heat, the laughter, all of it! ***This ARC copy was given by Netgalley.com and its publisher in exchange for an honest review.

sassy, funny and full of heart

I love Piper and Cole together. The sibling’s best friend trope is one of my favorites because there is usually such history already between the hero and heroine, adding an additional depth to their relationship. Here, Piper has loved Cole forever and he feels something similar but, besides her being his best friend’s sister, he wants to feel worthy of her. Unfortunately a horrible accident has left him scarred inside and out. I can understand where he is coming from and Gray does a good job of keeping it from being too “oh-woe-is-me”. He’s not pitiful, he’s troubled - still a good man underneath, just fighting a few demons. Piper was starting to give up on Cole ever having feelings for her, but once she realizes that maybe there is more than brotherly affection on his side she decides to put everything out there to win the man she’s loved for so long. She doesn’t care about the scars on his body, she’s determined to win his heart. Piper is a ton of fun once she puts her mind to getting to Cole, making me smile more than once and leaving me feeling sorry for the poor man. Sassy, funny and full of heart, Wrecked is a fabulously good time. BTW, I’ve not read anything else in this series and I don’t think that it made a difference. There are a couple of small references I don’t totally understand, but overall it is minor and I think this story can easily stand on its own. So if this is your first too, don’t hesitate to pick it up.

    Wrecked

I bought this book by mistake, and while I'm not a romance reader, I enjoyed this one. It had some plot twists that I didn't see coming. Nice job

She saved the best for last

Of all the Axle Alley Viper books, Cole and Piper's story has to be my favorite. Piper and Cole have been pining away for each other since ages but each is oblivious to the other's feelings. Deke being the reason in Cole's case. But fortunately, Deke is the one who provides the opportunity for them to explore their feelings further, even though Cole is sorely misguided in his intentions. Piper has never focused on just his exterior and that is the only thing that is holding Cole back from giving her everything of himself. ARC provided in exchange for an honest review
