    Murder, Shapeshifters, Magic, and Pastry

This book is actually a collection of stories, kind of like a little miniseries, about the M/M romance between two shape shifters: a Kraken and a Unicorn. Talk about an odd couple, but the author shows, as good authors will, how these two seemingly disparate characters actually fit together perfectly. It's got magic, murder, and mystery aplenty as both characters work for an agency that is kind of like an alternate version of the FBI. There's some good murder mysteries and a lot of really enjoyable sex scenes, along with some comedy and a good amount of fluff. I enjoyed every story in it and, tiny spoiler wrapped in a warning, you will want pastries so bad after reading this — srsly, unicorns have terribly active sweet-tooths! I highly recommend this book.

    Cuddly badasses

Who,d of dreamed? Ms. Megan, obviously. I love this fantasy world where no one blinks over gender fluidity and the emotional issues are variations of vanities and vulnerabilities we all have.
