This is book #2, in the Accidental Love series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader understanding and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order. Talia has just won her freedom. Another dancer in her troupe has left from an emergency, she gets a small apartment and principal position. Then she abruptly meets him. Reed is just doing his job. If he does not do his due diligence, people die. He wants to solve this case without losing innocent lives. Then he meets her. The attraction for both of them is immediate. The chemistry is spot on and the heat just builds. I loved that we learned about both of them as individuals, and that they brought out more in each other. Had great humor, and yet was still serious and sweet at times. ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review by Netgalley and its publisher.

    Like this series

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy. After finishing the book, I can finally stop holding my breath and sign in relief! I was just not sure that Reed would finally admit he had deep feelings for Talia (love) and want the m-word. The book really takes you on a journey as they start to fall for each other and then you can see the love between them and want them to make it but you know that Reed has issues from a past relationship and his thinking that he can't have a relationship as a DEA agent. When he lets Talia walk away, it is just so heartbreaking but I love her strength that she finally moves on and knows that she will be alright and won't let this affect her performance in Giselle. I enjoyed the previous story with Talia's brother and Jessie and I really hope that we will see what is going on with Rose and her fiance or Amanda and her secret crush - those sound like they will be fun to read!

    Fun Romance

This is the first book I've read by Rebecca Brooks and I just purchased the first in the Accidental Love series, Wrong Bed, Right Roommate. I only wish the series would continue. The book has everything I love in a story; humor, steam, sexy characters, suspense and a sweet woman that refuses to back down from a big bad tough DEA agent that pretends he isn't as attracted to her as she is to him. I admire Talia for her tenacity and dedication to her starring role in Giselle, but also her desire to lure Reed into her arms. Reed fights his desire for Talia as long as possible but melts like butter in her hands. He may be a tough guy to the rest of the world but to Talia he's a big gruff teddy bear. This is a delightful story that is a quick read and a fun love story! Thank you to Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for introducing me to Rebecca Brooks.

a five-star read you would get into bed with

Wrong Bed, Right Girl by Rebecca Brooks a five-star read you would get into bed with. This author is fast becoming someone I would happily pick up when I’m in the mood for cute and funny, with a side of fruity/gripping story. It can be a little far fetched as Talia and Reed are polar opposites, but do you know what, I was in the mood to shelve my brain and just enjoy a fun read and this gave me so much joy. If you want deep and meaningful then move on but if you want funny, with a great meet cute then you need this novel in your life. I honestly can’t wait for the next novel from this author.

    Loved!

Loved this book! This is a thoroughly entertaining story about opposites attracting with Reed, the growly DEA agent, and Talia, the ballerina who suddenly finds herself homeless after Reed crashes into her life. Their odd co-habitation begins - along with their attraction to each other. I loved Talia's character - as a somewhat insecure ballerina struggling to make it in NYC. She felt real with her insecurities and body imperfections. Reed is the perfect balance to her as the focused agent with a damaged heart. I loved how they interacted together and, together, became something even better. If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. I'm adding the author to my must read authors' list. While this novel is part of a series, this is a stand alone book.
