  • Best of the best in this genre, love them all!!!

Gemstone 5* Excellent! Very well written paranormal that can stand on its own, the romance is secondary but very well blended into the plot. The shifters are slipping and have become too comfortable trying to live like humans and the vampires are ready and able to take advantage of their complacency. Niall is all alpha but welcomes the playboy lifestyle. Sarai has no use for a relationship, she demands her independence. Both are strong-willed warriors yet compliment one another, their chemistry bridges the gap and opens the door for them to find exactly what they were not looking in the midst of war. I also really like the bondmate concept and how the author portrays them. Great, consuming, adventurous and captivating paranormal romance! Lion’s Lair 5* Very captivating and interesting story. Full of action and adventure. Jeremiah is a great character, strong-willed & very giving which also describes Renee so of course they bump heads. Their stubbornness adds friction to their attraction, fuel to the fire. When danger boldly shows up, the intensity (on all levels) escalates. Love this addition to the series. Unbalanced 5* This bunch has had their share of dangerous adventures as they fight the vampires that are determined to reign. Each addition to this series provides growth in the plot and knowledge in the characters magic, the romance is always the "icing". Zee comes across as arrogant & prideful which isn't a shocker since he is a dragon shifter but he is very mature, knowledgeable and powerful. Chloe is much younger, less trusting, very happily independent but very eager to be chosen by a bond mate. They bump heads but both are smart enough to know that they battle they have fight will require all the help they can get and as they work through their differences of opinion and get to know one another they discover their attraction for one another is a risk worth taking. Zee is never in denial, he just has to be patient and wait for Chloe to catch up, lol.

  • Shifters and More

This set contains the three stories in the Wylde Magick series (Gemstone, Lions Lair, and Unbalanced). You can read each story as a standalone, though I recommend that you read them in order to fully understand the storyline. And this set makes it easy to do. There is violence and sex so 18+. Each of these stories was an interesting installment in the series. You have shifters and vampires, and I loved the author even adding a dragon shifter. Love dragons! Add in the rest of the cast and you have a very interesting story. Definitely worth reading.

  • Love these books!!

Wonderful series, I couldn't put these down! Gemstone - Niall's an EMT and a jaguar shifter and one night is sent to a horrible car accident. Pretty sure it was caused by supernatural forces, he heads back to look around after his shift is over and the humans have cleared out. What he finds surprises him, Vamps and shifters working together??? Sarai lives with her aunt and uncle until they are attacked and taken hostage. Planning a daring escape which is interrupted by Niall's rescue attempt of sorts. There are some crazy things at play and they agree to work with an old enemy to stop a bigger enemy. Along the way Niall and Sarai might just find something they have both been looking for or is it something they have been running from?? I really enjoyed this book and the different take on things and factions of supers. I can't wait to see what comes next for this bunch and their new friends. Lion’s Lair - Jeremiah has been having strange visions since being saved by the shifter healer. Then the unexpected happens. Renee is awakened by her eagle in a hurry. Though she has only had a minimal amount of sleep it is clear she is done for the night. The next day she heads to Colorado where her friends live and her eagle is directing her. Renee, Jeremiah and friends have trouble heading their way. More vampires are nearby, but things may be swinging in the shifter and mages favor. Unbalanced - Zachary is a dragon shifter/judge with a very restless bondmate. Chloe is a mage who has always wanted her own bondmate. She thought she put all that behind her, but after her twins gets his own bondmate she is doing every thing in her power to get one of her own. There is still a big danger lurking around the corner with the vampires and they can't let their guard down just yet. I just adore Chole, she can be a bit much at times, but her heart is in the right place for sure. Several new characters introduced as well and they are very set in their ways. LOL

  • Amazing series

Gemstone Niall is a Jaguar shifter born in 1563 with an Irish brogue he has managed to keep all these years. To keep himself from going stir crazy he works as a paramedic. On the job he comes across a really bad accident caused by bed Magic. After saving who he could he goes back later on to investigate. Sarai Lurie is a wolf shifter born the USA she is considered young by her kind at 50. One night a group of vampires take her captive. They kill her aunt Marie but she still has her uncle Stephen and there doesn't seem to be away out. Until! Lol yea your going to have to read to see what happens . It's a great story! I love the new twist Ann Gimpel gave to the shifters magic. She has it in her other series too bitter harvest. It's set in a dystopia urban fantasy world I loved that series too. Oops back to this book lol strong kick butt women meet strong kick butt men and sparks fly. Love the characters, the action is great, it has drama, mystery, intrigue, and betrayal. It has it all. I didn't want it to end and hope there is more planed because the world she created it fantastic. Don't miss it. Lion's Lair Jeremiah is the leader of his people. He is a strong and self-assured mage . Then a lion shows up Renee is a shifter with magic her bond mate is an engle. Then there Vampires making trouble too oh yes and one more thing you should know a shifter mate is found in the stars. Yea that's all I can tell you about this fantastic story other then I loved it it has a great plot line . Fantastic characters and I lived how the interacted. It had great twist and turns to the story with drama, danger, mystery, intrigue, action, spice and more. I couldn't put it down and can't wait for the next book to come out. Ann Gimpel is an fantastic writer Unbalanced Judge (zee) Zackary Marston is a Dragon shifter. He has kept to himself since coming over to the USA long ago. His Dragon is not happy about their life choices. Chloe is a mage who has always dreamed of having a bond animal and being a shifter as all mages do wish. In the last book her twin brother is their leader and a bond animal picked him. He was the first ever mage to become a shifter. Once apon a time shifters and mages were the same all of the same Wylde Magick . Now vampires and others are of the dark magick they are at war. Who will win? This was awesome so full of action. The characters had me enthralled it really was spectacular I loved how they all interacted and never knew what would happen next. It was fantastic. An amazing adventure I never wanted to end. Voluntarily reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it.
