    Sue Grafton never disappoints

I discovered Sue Grafton's alphabet series late in the game, and was able to binge read A-W and the wait was long for X. But it was so worth it! I do wish that as the series comes to a close that we would see some personal growth and development from Kinsey.

    --X--

After reading all of Grafton's books, V & X have really turned up the heat. While I have enjoyed all of the tongue in cheek mysterys, these last two are markedly more complex, keeping it fun at the same time. Wonder what comes after Z?

    X The Novel

A weak and muddled plot (or lack of it) failed to hold my interest the way the earlier lettered novels did. In fact the sub plots are more intriguing in this novel. The not-so-subtle inclusion of the letter "X" so many times is irritating and unnecessary. Hoping that "Y" will be a return to the more interesting Grafton works we enjoyed in A to W.

    X by sue grafton.

This is a good mystery. I have read all of the authors books. It is fun to connect with all the familiar characters.

    Entertaining. Classic Kinsey.

Good multiple plot lines, fast moving. Good mix of dark and lighter stories. Amusing as always, well wrapped up with some good twists. Kinsey fans should not be disappointed.
