Hot, hot, hot!! I love Roni Loren's books.

This book is so hot it about set me on fire. Although it’s part of the Loving on the Edge series you don’t have to have read any of the other books to enjoy this one. This is Roni Loren’s first all M/M romance and boy does she know how to write it. This book begins in present day and then flashes back to when Devon and Hunter were college roommates. This was a perfect way to tell their story. Hunter is about to get married but his fiancé feels there is something “off” about him and she sends him on a vacation. She suggests he visit his best friend who he hasn’t spoken to in several years. She has Googled Devon and made arrangements for Hunter to stay at a resort near where Devon lives. Hunter goes to visit Devon where he works but gets drunk waiting for him. Against his better judgement Devon drives him to the resort and they begin talking. The next part of the book takes place four years earlier, when Hunter and Devon were in college. There is so much emotion in this book I could feel it coming off of the pages as I read it. This story proves that if the love story is good it doesn’t matter if it’s a M/F or M/M book; love is love. I didn’t want to put this book down once I started and yet I hated for it to end. This always happens for me when I read one of Roni Loren’s books. If I have one complaint about Yours All Along it’s that I wanted it to be longer. I know a book has to end sometime but I was left with an enormous amount of want when I came to the end of this one. There isn’t a cliffhanger, Devon and Hunter get their HEA but there were so many things I wanted to know more about. I must admit I was so caught up in the story that I was not aware I was reading the last chapter when it ended. I actually started screaming no, no, no; it can’t be over! I guess that is a sign of a really great book. I can’t wait to read the next story in this series. ARC provided by Roni Loren via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

sexy m/m friends to lovers story!

This sexy and sweet novella is the story of Devon and Hunter. While Devon has always identified with being gay, and was shunned by his family as a result, Hunter has always been straight - until meeting Devon. Roommates in college, suddenly Hunter finds he isn't so sure about his sexuality and being drawn to Devon is both scary and exciting. But with the pressure of his political family and baseball career on the line, loving someone might not be enough. I really enjoyed this story. It's told from both Devon and Hunter's points of view and a good portion of the story is the flashback to college, and the evolution of their friendship and how it became something deeper and more intimate. Devon's got his head on straight and he knows exactly what he wants, though he doesn't ever expect to get it from Hunter and he's resigned himself to just being friends with no expectations. But when Hunter wants to experiment, he's not going to say no. Devon and Hunter both come across as strong, solid, good guys and it's easy to see how they would be attracted to each other. Hunter is the one with the angst in this story as he struggles with his sexual identity and the expectations of his parents and world at large. When Hunter and Devon meet up again 4 years later just before Hunter's wedding, all those feelings they've both tried to get over come crashing back in, and Hunter's choice becomes clear to him. There are several steamy and emotional scenes between the two of them that show their true feelings. Because of its novella length the ending is a bit abrupt but it's a happy for now one and overall it was a sexy and enjoyable read. 4 stars.

    Yours All Along

Hunter and Devon were best friends and lovers in college. Now Hunter has come back to California right before his wedding. Great second chances romance.

    Dev and Hunter

I don'tthinkitisfair that you tease us for the next book....but well done. I loved both Dev and Hunter and can't wait for more as always. I loved the humanness of the characters and their challenges. Really liked the elevator scene.

    scorching hot novella

Roni Loren does it again. I was sucked right into the story and devoured it in one sitting. This book plays out in both the past and the present. We are taken back to the MCs college years so we can understand and watch their relationship develop. Oh how I love when a straight man falls for his gay best friend. The build up is spectacular and you as the reader can't help but hope for a HEA. I love M/M books and this was a well written, well structured keeper. It will likely be a reread book for me. My only complaint would be that I want more of Hunter and Devon, but I hear that we get some more in Call On Me :)
