  • Miss Ethel is my FAVORITE!

This is book 7 in the Heroes at Heart series and it features Zeke and Cynthia. A lot of us are a step or two away from a homeless shelter. This is where Zeke meets Cynthia. His own Cinderella. It’s not lost on me that he had a fascination with the various tales of the Cinderella story when he was younger. She’s had it rough and needs a fresh start. She also needs protection. These two just click and as always, Miss Ethel seems to be everyone’s fairy godmother. This story line was good but not too exciting. There wasn’t much action. The romance was sweet and I absolutely LOVE any interaction we have with Miss Ethel. She definitely brings the magic to the series.

  • A must read...about real love

As always, Ms. Jordan, delivers a story that hits home for the reality of life and what it can deliver to you. She also manages to educate the reader with a very discerning wit and builds very believable characters. Her books are always a joy to read and can be a joy to reread. Thank you, Ms. Jordan, for another very good book in this series.

  • A Little Bit of Cinderella

A little bit of Cinderella to wake up the fairy tale in all of us. The seventh book in Heroes of the Heart will grab your heart and take you on an emotional roller coaster. you can't help but love Miss Ethel for the wonderful woman she is and the family she has created with all of her 'children'. This is Cynthia and Zeke's story and one of the best so far. Well written with strong, likable characters and an emotional story. It grabbed my attention right at the beginning and kept it until the end. Beautifully written and engaging. A great read that you will enjoy. Maryann Jordan has another winner and definitely doesn't disappoint with Zeke. I read an arc copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

  • Lovely Read

I have got to hand it to Maryann Jordan she really knows how to write an inspiring and entertaining story. Zeke is no exception. As one of Miss Ethel’s foster boys he has learned how to be a credit to her and himself. He meets Cynthia and together they grow friendship into love facing any hurdle thrown in their way. This is a beautiful and heart warming book which I thoroughly enjoyed.

  • Beautifully written.

As always Maryann Jordan has written another Hero for us all to fall in love with. Zeke Kemp is the next to youngest son of Miss Ethel and what a beautiful story he got. This series is winding down but yet this family keeps growing. Cynthia has fallen on some hard times. Her story is as close to ‘Cinderella’ as one could but ending up in the homeless shelter wasn’t how things were planned but she just might have been able to find her prince during her hard time. We follow as these two get to know each other, we follow as these two fall in love and we watch as they navigate their lives. A little mystery, fun times with family, we watch as the family comes together and helps one another. I think that is one of my favorite parts of this series is the live they have for one another as family. Highly recommended *I was given a free advanced copy of the book by the author in exchange for my honest and voluntary review.-*
