    Fantastic

This first book in Ginny Baird's newest series is a fantastic story and promises us many more stories set in the quaint little town of Christmas Town, Tennessee. Hannah Winchester arrives i Christmas Town ready to sell the small bakery left to her by her great grandmother. She in no way plans to stay in this little town or reopen the shop. Soon though she finds herself wrapped in the warmth of the townspeople and the joyous nature of the town itself. Having the attention of the town sheriff Carter Livingston isn't so bad either. Will Hannah's fear of opening her heart to not only the town but to Carter keep her from staying? I highly recommend this one and I personally can't wait for more in this series.

    Light-Hearted and Magical!

Hannah Winchester travels to Christmas Town, TN to sell the cookie shop that she inherited from her great-grandmother. On her way into town she meets the sexy sheriff, Carter Livingston. Even though she’s only in Christmas Town temporarily, Hannah can’t deny the pull that Carter and Christmas Town have on her. But she can’t possibly run a successful cookie shop when she has no idea how to bake, can she? And will her budding relationship with Carter prove to be something more than a short fling? This was a really fun story! I loved the little bit of magic that the author wove throughout the story. I would’ve liked to see it expounded a bit more because it was just so fun. Carter and Hannah definitely had chemistry. In fact, this story was a little bit steamier than other Sweet Romance novels I’ve read. I felt that the author did a great job introducing side characters as well. I’m dying to read the second novel to see what happens between Hannah’s brother and friend! I thoroughly enjoy series that are centered on one specific town and the different inhabitants of the town, so this book was right up my alley. If you’re looking for a really fun, light-hearted read that has a touch of magic woven throughout, then this is definitely the story for you! (I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. All of the above opinions are entirely my own.)

Delightful story puts you in the mood for Christma

There is nothing to put you in the Christmas mood that a wonderful delightful Christmas story that takes place in a cute little town with wonderful towns people who make you smile, laugh as they leave you with a smile on your face. Here you have one lady that just can’t get a break, at first she thought she would go to Christmas Town sell the shop that she has inherited why paying off everything she owes. What she found is a delightful town filled with delightful people who always give a hand to those in need along with one hot sheriff that she can’t take her eyes off of. Maybe just maybe she might stick around and give this shop and the sheriff a chance to change her mind. This is a story that I enjoyed very much I read it at one setting having trouble putting it down. Hannah grows to love this town and the members as much as you will. The town can’t wait to have those delightful cookies. They even say they have magic in them. Now this I have got to see. The only problem is she has no recipes, can’t cook and no money to put into this project. Who can turn down a helping hand from Santa not Hannah not when he is as tall and good looking as this Santa? I really enjoyed the chemistry as sparks fly you are left wondering if the town might burn down. One look at the shop and all the work it needs has her saying thanks but no thanks as she makes plans to sell. If the handsome Santa (Carter) has his way she will be staying for a very long time. As in most small town you have the town’s people in your business trying their hand at matchmaking. At times I had to chuckle at the things they come up with. This was really a delightful read of two people not looking for love but if the town has any say they will be a match made in heaven. I hope you pick up this wonderful read and give it a try.

Ginny Baird's The Christmas Cookie S

The Christmas Cookie Shop is located in Christmas Town, Tennessee. Hannah Winchester has inherited this shop. It had once been run By her great-great grandmother, Lena Winchester. Lena baked special holiday cookies that seem to be magical. Hannah has no baking or cooking knowledge. She has come to town to sell the shop. Now she finds herself At home in this town and attracted to the town sheriff. But even if she could bake, the secret special recipe seems to have been lost. Lots of flavor to this story from a great array of Characters. The shenanigans and dynamics between some of the characters including Hannah's two kittens, Jingles and Belle added humor within this story. Delightful setting, beautiful friendships, appealing read gives the reader a enjoyable read. I highly recommend this book. I volunteered to read an Advanced Reader Copy. Thanks to the author for the eBook. My opinion is my own.

    Sweet and Magical Christmas Romance

This a sweet and Christmas romance in Christmas Town where magical things happen. "The Christmas Cookie Shop" by Ginny Baird is book number one in the "Christmas Town" series. This is Hannah Winchester and Carter Livingston's story. Carter has been in Christmas Town for almost a year as the sheriff. Lou, Christmas Town mayor, has tried to fix Carter up but he just isn't ready for a relationship. Carter still has some unresolved things from his past. Hannah inherited her grandmother's old cookie shop in Christmas Town. She decides to go to Christmas Town to fix up the shop and put it up for sale. Hannah is at crossroads in her life and isn't sure what she wants to do. She knows for sure that she isn't ready for a relationship. Hannah also has some unresolved issues from her past. I loved Carter and Hannah's characters. It was fun watching Carter and Hannah's relationship change. Will they take a chance on love? You can't help but fall in love with all the people of Christmas Town. This story reminds me of the cute and sweet Christmas romance movies on the Hallmark channel. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
