    Absolutely Wonderful!

Ever since I heard that Piper and Rayne were going to be writing a series of three standalone Olympic sports romances I was completely on board and super excited to read them! I dove in and read the first book COLD AS ICE, and I loved it! Next I read ON THIN ICE and I loved it, too...and now I've finished the third and final book in the Bedroom Games series, BREAK THE ICE, and I absolutely loved it, too! I'm a sucker for sports romances, so I've definitely been enjoying that aspect of these stories, and I've loved how they've been fictionally taking place around the Winter Olympics. This final book, BREAK THE ICE, actually takes place once the games have concluded though and I definitely didn't mind that at all! While the sport aspects of these books have been a lot of fun, what I've loved most have been the relationships between the six main characters: Grady and Mia, Dax and Demi, and Beckett and Skylar. I've loved seeing them as couples, and I've really loved their group dynamics, too! Each of the books have had the romance develop in very different ways. BREAK THE ICE was a friends-to-lovers story that started playing out in the previous two books and finally hit its breaking point here...and oh boy did Beckett and Skylar ever break that ice. :P I loved seeing Beckett and Skylar's friendship, and I really loved seeing how they already fit into each other's lives. What I loved most was seeing how close they already were...and I loved seeing the characters realize the depths of their feelings! I'd been waiting for Skylar and Beckett's story since they first crossed the page in COLD AS ICE. I already loved their relationship and couldn't wait to see it move from friendship to more...and it was so worth the wait! :D Overall, I loved BREAK THE ICE, and I loved the entire Bedroom Games series. They were cute, steamy reads that I didn't want to put down. I'd recommend BREAK THE ICE and the Bedroom Games series to anyone who loves rom-coms with a funny, sweet and sexy flair to them!

A Gold Medal finish to this series!

**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review** Break the Ice is the third and final book in Piper Rayne's Bedroom Games series and it gets a gold medal! It definitely helps to have read the first two books in this series to better understand the previous interactions of the hero and heroine. Beckett Myers and Skylar Walsh have been best friends for several years and there was no doubt to everyone around them that these two belonged together, but the question was, did they realize that?! After coming back from the Winter Classics, Beckett was hoping to relax and chill, but not in the way he's being forced to - with a broken arm. Since he's not in touch with his family, he heads to Skylar's house to recover. While Beckett might be confident and secure on a snowboard, when he gets off the mountain, he has a mountain of insecurities. Even though he feels deeply for Skylar, he's doing everything he can to fight his attraction for his best friend even going as far as setting her up on a date. His biggest fear is losing the one person he counts on most in his life if they cross that line between friends and lovers. Will he be able to take the biggest risk of his life to make Skylar more than a friend? This was another well written, engaging book. I give huge props to Piper and Rayne for the way they wrote the character of Beckett and stayed true to who he was. I loved seeing both Beckett and Skylar being vulnerable even when it was difficult to eventually get to the place they both wanted to be. I can't wait to see what is next for this writing duo!

Fun, snarky finish to the series

Though they're always being told that they have something deeper than friendship, Beckett & Skylar have always avoided crossing the line. Too scared to lose each other, they exist in a state of denial and indifference - until they can't pretend any longer. This is the sweetest book in the series. There's less drama, but lots of snarky humour that will keep you chuckling. Though it can standalone, reading the previous books in the series would clear up a few things about Sky & Beck's relationship. While I enjoyed this installment, I was looking for a little extra from this story. We don't get as much from the authors on the main characters' back stories, especially Beckett's, in this one. This left gaps and unanswered questions for me that I didn't get from the other two preceding stories. I still very much recommend this series, as the stories are quite entertaining and fun.

Sorry to see the Bedroom Games end.

So, yet another series by this amazing duo comes to an end. There was no Classic Games in this one, just Beckett and Skylar fighting their feelings while negotiating their friendship. Beckett didn’t have the best of childhoods growing up and when he turned eighteen, he walked away, wanting nothing more than to forget all about it. But, it’s easier said than done, he’s kinda broken in that respect. But, somehow, he managed to make good, and now he’s at the top of his career. But, one silly slip up and he’s left paying the price. Skylar isn’t quite as vocal in her story, she knows how she feels about Beckett, but despite all their friends pointing it out, she doesn’t believe he feels the same way. They’re friends, and that’s all they’ll ever be, no matter what she really wants. Beckett has been trying to hide from his past since he turned eighteen. He’s struggled with it ever since but when he first saw Skylar he knew he wanted more, he just couldn’t ask for it. But, after breaking his arm, he is forced to rely on Skylar’s help during his recuperation and he falls even more in love with her. He hates seeing her meeting up with other guys and going on dates. One mad night of over-indulgence causes him to leave his inhibitions behind. All their friends could see these two belonged together, but Beckett is scared of never being good enough, of Skylar seeing the real him and wondering just what she was doing all along. Can he and Skylar finally have it all or will he be drowned by his own doubts. I loved this book and can’t wait for the next new series, from these two awesome authors. I’m sure I’m not the only one who can see another series in the makings in this book. The Bianco brothers, perchance? These Italian Stallions, Luca and Mauro sound hot and deserve the best story out there.

    Beautifully emotional & passionate

So this isn't the normal fun, light easy read that we are use to from Piper Rayne. Beckett and Skyler's story was emotional and heartbreaking at times because of Beckett's feelings of not being enough our deserving of love. Prepare yourself for some passionate and raw sentiments that will grip you throughout this read and holds on to you until the very end. I'm sad to see this series end but looking forward to the next amazing series by this dynamic duo!
