    Awesome!!

The Bitterroot Inn is the 5th book in my favorite book series of all!! The love that develops between Maisy and Hunter is amazing and the love Hunter develops for a child that is not his rivals the best of any "step" relationship known to man. Their chemistry is off the charts! It is a nice book in the series that allows the relationships in the early books to continue on along with the development of this new romance! Love wins!! Excellent read!!

    This series gives me life!

4.5 Stars (which I believe is the lowest rating of the series...so I think that says something. It says READ THIS SERIES!) Since book one, Devney Perry has been on my 'authors I MUST read' list. Her books will always be on my shelf and in my kindle. So I feel like I've been waiting for Maisy's story for FOREVER! Ever since Coppersmith Farmhouse, I've been on the edge of seat just waiting... impatiently... I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Maisy and Hunter... what can I say other than awesome?! I can count on Devney Perry to release a book with great writing, a great story, and the ability to make me connect with the characters emotionally. The Bitterroot Inn has all of these qualities...and more! Single mom, check. Hot doctor, check. Cute as hell kid, check. The fifth book of the Jamison Valley series was a great way to end it. As much as I wanted Maisy's HEA right after book one, it was a perfect way to circle around and bring this amazing series to an end. Maisy was such a big part of the first book, you really get connected to her and want to get her story ASAP. Waiting was pure agony but once I got my hands on it, all I can say is that it was worth the wait. Like I said in my review of The Coppersmith Farmhouse, I could read this series every single day and I would be happy. I'm obsessed. I wish I had had time to reread the series again before I started this so I could have dove straight into this head first. (I have a problem of getting so excited and impatient for a book in a series but once the book comes out, it just sits on my shelf or kindle; or it takes me a while to finish-which happened here. I would've read this in a day if I had started the series over again.) The only problem I had was that there was at least three or four times, in the middle of a chapter, a month would just be skipped. I'm not a big fan of time elapsing in the middle of a chapter. I understand time needs to go by but in this, an event would occur and before personally, I emotionally felt like it was over, I was hit with "it's been one month since.. yada yada yada." Oh, another thing I didn't like...Hunter had a man bun! Yuck...no thanks. (Well, I guess I should say, in my mind, he did not have one.) *Side note to Devney: if I start a petition and get a lot of signatures, can we get a novella with Milo and Sara's story?

A perfect end to a beautiful series

Wow! What an excellent way to end this fantastic series. Every single one of these books is fantastic, up until now, Silas was my No 1, but this one just blew me away! Hunter Faraday is my latest BBF! I am in love. Hunter Faraday, fell in love with Maisy Holt, the first time he saw her at the hospital, about to give birth to her son. He wasn’t ready for her then, so he left, but came back 3 years later, with her and her young son Coby, on his mind. Maisy Holt has her son, her Inn, The Bitterroot Inn, and many, many renovation projects to work on. Aside from when her friends set her up on terrible blind dates, she doesn’t have time for a man in her life. Then Hunter walks into the Bitterroot Inn, looking to rent a room, Maisy hasn’t met anyone as hot as Hunter, in her life, and gets a bit tongue tied, but the sparks still fly between them. As they get to know each other, Maisy realises, she talks a lot about herself, but she knows nothing about Hunter. Hunter is hiding something, something that Maisy won’t be able to get over, so he keeps it from her until the secret he has been hiding, has to be revealed, to help her. This story, absolutely consumed me, I loved every moment and couldn’t put it down. It was fantastic to hear about all our beloved couples, from the previous books, and I loved how Hunter fitted in perfectly. Maisy certainly got the HEA she deserved! The best part though, the thing that made this book, the number 1 of this series, for me, was the epilogue! My goodness, the epilogue was perfect, and I hope, it hints at what is to come next! Another 5* book that I would give 10, if I could. This will stay with me for days, which, for me, is the sign of an amazing story.

A wonderful installation to a great series

Another wonderful story by Devney Perry. Ever since I read her first book, Coppersmith Farmhouse (I still can't believe that was her first book!) I've devoured her books within a day of release. I always know all her books will have characters we all will fall in love with and the story engaging. I knew Maisy's story was going to be amazing, I remember reading about her in the first book and seeing what she went through, it was heartbreaking so I was so happy to see her find someone like Hunter. A protector and such a wonderful dad to Coby. I loooooove Hunter! I also absolutely love the small town feel, KA's books are like that too and it makes me just want to pack up my stuff and find a small town and start all over again. (I actually got pretty close of doing just that). I visited Montana a few years ago and that was definitely a state where I would love to move to. So all in all loved this book, even though the truth took a bit longer than I would have liked, but I am glad that it didn't take too long for all to be forgiven. The anticipation of not knowing how and when the truth was going to come out and what the reaction was going to be was hard for me. Don't get me wrong I've read books where the anticipation and nail biting was much worse. But again I can't reiterate enough how I really enjoyed this book. Hope I didn't blubber too much, this is only my 3rd review :)

    Best New Author of 2017

Devney Perry writes such heartwarming and fresh love stories. I stumbled onto the first book in the Jamison Valley series when it was only out a few days and I have enjoyed each book more than the one before. The Bitterroot Inn showcases what a gifted writer Devney Perry truly is. I will happily journey where her next book takes me!
