    Perfect!!

Is it possible to fall more in love with a series, the answer is just one word, Gage. As the youngest Colter he has a lot to prove and the responsibilities he has to deal with weight so much on him that he can't see what he really needs to do. Following his father's footsteps in basketball he fells he has to be the best basketball player, student, brother, and son, but as a freshman in College adjusting will prove to be a greater challenge than he understand or can deal with by himself, specially if he wants to play in the team. Failure in College or even the possibility of not playing is not an option that Gage can accepts and he will do anything he cans to succeed, even if he has to ask help. Becker is focus on what she wants and has worked very hard to get it, but studying is not all you have to do to qualify for the most prestigious internship, specially if you are a freshmen in College. Becker will find herself tutoring the guy she can't get out of her head. A surprising and interesting relationship develops from this tutoring, an opportunity that Gage will use to get what he really needs, Becks. Gage & Becks story is very sweet, full of surprises, fun, romance, love, and passion. Love this series, each Coulter is so different and they make you fall in love with the whole family, it is great to see them all together,

    Gage

One sign of a good series is that each book becomes your favorite. The Player series is a good one. Yep, I fell for Gage, too. The youngest sibling, he felt the stress of college grades, getting the starting spot on the Basketball team, and his dad's failing health. He didn't need to add a love life to this salad. He was being responsible, finding a tutor to help him up his grades, he sure didn't expect her to be the woman he'd been caught in a situation with as his savior. Not to mention she was hot even if she tried to hide it. Yeah, Gage is a player, but female playing is not his focus. Becker didn't date. She had her own focus and it was making a life for herself away from her father. (You'll need to read about that relationship) She avoided certain males with all she had. Since neither wanted it, of course, they couldn't seem to ignore their attraction.  This is a couple meant to be together. Their relationship is cute, filled with sexual tension, and touching. They show their loyalty, caring natures, and work ethic not seen enough today. I fell for them. I felt the ending was the best possible, (yeah we know it is a romance so there has to be an HEA) but there are all kinds of ways this could play out. The author gives us a chance to .... well you just need to read this one. Gage is a sweetie and this big-man-on-campus is adorable when he asks Becks out for a date. Don't miss this one. A strong recommend from me.

    These two are amazing

I've not read the first three books in this series and I plan to do that soon because Fox, Ransom, and Gage have been pretty amazing reads. Becker has been through a tough time in the past and is now attempting to live some semblance of a regular college life. But getting trapped in a bathroom at a frat party one night and being forced to witness a couple get busy was not part of the plan. Being unable to keep her eyes the guy who catches her voyeurism, she bursts out of the room and escapes the party. Maybe it would be better to focus on studying and bagging a fellowship that will help her achieve her dream of being a writer. Breaking free of her overbearing father's domination over her life is the only way to preserve her sanity. Gage has some pretty big shoes to fill and huge standards to live up to, what with being the youngest Coulter and all. So when his failing grade endangers his place on the basketball team he's forced to seek out a tutor. Only the tutor has a pair of eyes that have haunted him for a while. Together they somehow figure out a way to fill the empty spaces in their lives and become each other's support, confiding their darkest secrets and deepest desires. But when in a fit of anger Gage spill Becker's secrets to the entire basketball team, he realizes that he's going to end up losing the only thing that he's ever really cared about besides his family. I received an Advanced Reader's Copy from the author for voluntary review consideration.

    Gage and Becker...A Perfect Match!

This is the 6th book in Nana Malone's Player series and tells the story of the youngest Coulter sibling Gage. Gage is a college basketball player who definitely feels the pressure of the Coulter name but doesn't want to make waves or disappoint anyone because of everything the family has going on. When his grades fall and he's faced with the possibility of losing his eligibility to play basketball he decides to fix that on his own and gets a tutor in the form of a very unexcited Becker. Becker is all about her grades and getting a prestigious internship and only agrees to tutor him to help with that goal. Gage immediately wants Becker but she doesn't see herself as enough to interest a guy like Gage. These two can't deny or fight their attraction though and eventually see that they're much better together as an official couple instead of the pretend one they initially agreed to (you have to read the book to find out more on that). This was a sweet story about first love, finding one's self, and standing up for what you want. These two both had their issues and pressures but in the end were there for each other to find their HEA doing what made them happy. Overall, a good read by Nana Malone.

    Score

Gage is the youngest coulter and trying to go to school, play basketball to follow in all of his families footsteps, deal with his fathers illness and the family scandal about ransom. Gage's grades start to show the stress he is under so he needs a tutor where is how he meets Becker "Becks" Johnson. To watch these two meet and get to know each other and help each other is great. Nana Malone again keeps you wanting more of this series by keeping all the other family members in the story. You are rooting for Gage and Beck.
