We all have to make choices.

I really liked the way the characters progressed through this story. It was kind of aggravating to watch Jen's obsession with her son not talking. I am glad that she was able to become less obsessive. Lucas wasn't really likeable at the beginning, but by the end I thought he was a pretty good guy. It was great the way the lives of the three women intertwined. Zoe was really trying to get her life together and then is thrown for loop by something that is totally out of her control. She does make the best of the situation and moves on. Pamela still feels like she is married even though her husband had been gone for a couple of years. She didn't date anyone. Yet, she found herself dating Zoe's dad. After Pam set her son up with Zoe, she had to learn to keep her nose out of their business and let them live their life. The story is all about the choices we make and then we have to live with those choices. All-in-all a very good story.

Life Is Made Up of A Million Little Things

Life isn’t made up of just one thing, but A Million Little Things. The Girls of Mischief Bay series by Susan Mallery is filled with so much heart, and A Million Little Things is filled with it. If you are anything like me you will find yourself laughing, crying, screaming and wanting to throw the book across the room out of frustration. The setting is rich, and the characters are full. Just like any group of family and friends, they don’t all think the same way all the time. In A Million Little Things, we meet Zoe Saldivar, who recently broke up with her longtime boyfriend and has discovered that a man she’d met before just might be the one for her, when life throws her a curveball. Jen is the mother of a child that she just knows isn’t right, and no one will listen to her. She and her husband have seemed to lost that loving feeling, and to make matters worse, her cop husband is teamed up with a man whose morals appear to be less than she would want her husband to be around. Pam is Jen’s mother and has recently found herself in the unusual predicament of becoming friends with her daughter’s best friend Zoe. She had thought that she was leading a full, rich life. Enjoying watching other’s romantic lives from the sidelines. When an intriguing man enters the picture? The problem? He’s a notorious Casanova. Should she remain on the sidelines, or join in the game? Even if you haven’t read the first two books in The Girls of Mischief Bay series or any other Susan Mallery books, you can jump right into this book.

    Storytelling at its Finest

Mallery has a unique gift to tell a story that winds around many characters and circumstances and bring them all together in a satisfying read. This is a book you will want your friends to read. The characters in this novel are so relatable and their interactions could be had with any of my friends. The plot is interesting and engaging. It truly is a book to share. I highly recommend this book to fans of the Women's Fiction and Contemporary Romance genres. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.
