    Thanks for your feedback!

Looks like the series is looking up

3.75 stars The previous books have been terrible in my opinion, however, this one I felt was an excellent read and maybe the uphill start to the rest of the series! Chloe Williams has been rejected by her mate for 4 years now. Even after her accident he still turned away from her. But with the help of her family and friends she's now trying to get back to her life in any way she can, with or without Jim Woods. Jim Woods has denied his feelings for the young vivacious Chloe since the minute he met her. He can't help but feel she deserves someone her age, not someone almost 10 years older than her. But now that he's no longer just a human, his wolf his driving him to claim his mate at any costs. Between mercs, the Senate, and the Bunsen-Williams family will these two find a chance to overcome past hurts and mate? Can't wait to find out what happens with the rest of the family and mates. Especially the mystery part/conspiracy between the shifters. What could've made this better was the format of this book. There really was not transition between characters. There were times I would have to go back and reread parts because it went from Chloe talking the previous night to Jim the next morning talking to his brother.
