    Short, Easy Read

Murder At Midnight by John Ukah was such an easy, comfortable read that I found myself absorbed into the story right as the beginning. It was a delight as well as a pleasant surprise to come across this unique mystery for all the right reasons!! Alex Simpson a newly retired, ex-police officer, checks into a resort hoping to enjoy some peace and quiet. During his stay, a young woman is killed and Alex finds that he has an irresistible mystery to solve on his hands. I enjoyed the author's clear description and background of each character thus setting the stage for the main plot. The mix of tension between the characters and the twists and turns in the story was captivating and held my attention and kept me guessing
