    A suspenseful romance

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my voluntary and honest review. Savior is an extremely suspenseful novel. The first third of the book had my stomach in knots as Piper and her twin try to make contact with their missing friend. However, things just keep on get worse. After Piper has been responsible for the arrest of her boyfriend implicated in the crimes, she looks for a fresh start. The past has a way of coming back to haunt her, first with the newspaper man who is tracking her, and then with a series of crimes with the same MO. The panic and fear that Piper experiences are very real. Logan, on the other hand has been the backstop and support his friends have needed, but he is in himself a broken man who needs healing as much as Piper does. He is protective of his family and when Piper starts to make inroads into his circle, he is initially suspicious of her. However, when he takes a second look at Piper, he recognises all the signs of a woman in fear who is on the run from some kind of threat. He slowly reaches out to Piper and their interest in each other begins to grow, and before they know it both are consumed in the flames of attraction. Criminals are devious to say the least and one is kept on tender hooks right through to the end, wondering whether Logan will be able to keep Piper safe. A well thought out story with suspense, danger, emotion and romance

Logan, a hot ex-Marine turned cop

t I loved this amazing book. Piper Sienna Davenport and Logan Elias Blackstone meet when a reporter, Phil Exeter has tracked her down again and they're having a little chat on her porch. Logan lives next door. He keeps finding her and she keeps refusing to talk him about what happened. This book has romance and suspense, which is one of my favorite reads. I couldn't stop reading because I wanted to know what was going to happen next. I won't give any spoilers, so one-click your copy today. You will not be disappointed.

    Logan's HEA

I fell in love with the First to Fight series by Nicole Blanchard the first time I read Warrior. Savior was no different. I was so excited to hear that Logan was finally getting his own story. He was always such a caring and concerned friend/cop when it came to Livvie/Ben and Sofie/Jack. I'm glad that he finally got his happily ever after. Savior centers around a psycho serial killer and Piper our heroine, or the one who got away. Piper has been running from her horrible past and just trying to find a place to finally call home. She's given an opportunity to start over when she meets Logan, her next door neighbor. Logan acts a little rough at first but you learn from reading, and from the past stories, that he's just being protective of the people in his life. Logan helps Piper feel again, and in return also find herself. I absolutely loved this story. There was love, passion, and understanding but it wasn't all hurried and pushed. It just all flowed at the right time. I also loved getting little snippets of the past characters and learning how they all tie into each other (I was curious as to how Anchor tied into this whole series and I loved the answer). I loved the epilogue as well. It made me laugh because it showed just how oblivious guys can be at times, but that never stops us from loving them. Thank you Ms Blanchard for writing such an amazing story and an amazing series. I look forward to reading the final story.

    Savior

The time line in this book was really confusing, and not addressing what occurred after Piper confronted her attacker was disappointing. Felt like things were left unfinished at the end of the book

    Logan & Piper's story

I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this advance reader copy and was not compensated in any way. This book had a lot of potential - I loved the plot and I really enjoyed meeting the characters involved. What I didn’t love was how hard it was to follow the timeline of events - I had to go back and re-read a few parts to try and figure it out. Even after re-reading, it wasn't quite clear to me how much time had actually passed. The other issue I had with this story was that in some places the wrong words were used - example grown was used instead of groan - which could be due to several factors but the end result was the wrong word was used and it threw me out of the story. I had to stop and take a break and start up again later. Overall it was worth the read and I will be looking into the other books in this series.
