Good solid read for Patricia Rice fans

I love Patricia Rice's books, but this was not my absolute favorite. Having said that, if you are in Patricia withdrawal as I was (the three times I read it) it will help you get over the hump. The story isn't bad - it has good characters and a decent plot, it is just not as developed as her more recent books are. You will also notice the formula for writing romance at that time; not bad, just not her best work.

    Garden of Dreams

Great story with an unusual storyline. Engaging small town life with a clever , petite woman who struggles to keep her aunt's home, garden, and land secure. Her dream of creating a botanical paradise which would draw tourists and aid her town becomes a possibility when a man and his son arrive and stay as boarders until his vehicle gets repaired. The man has his own dilemma that he is working through and their mutual attractions make supporting each other work well. Many twists to this interesting series of events.
