值此炎炎夏日，人們最需要的莫過於徐徐涼風一掃暑氣，國立故宮博物院於105年7月1日至9月25日，辦理「惠風和暢－摺扇集粹特展」，提供觀眾在高溫的夏季裡，涼風舒爽抵抗酷暑高溫。摺扇的使用由來已久，在《春秋繁露》中記載「以龍致雨，以扇逐暑」，扇子的功能也從地位的表徵，延伸到搧風的功能性使用。摺扇源自於明初洪武年間，日本朝貢使節進貢日本扇，中國史料關於日本摺扇的最早記錄，始於北宋端拱元年(988)日本東大寺僧奝然(938-1016)進宋貢品包含「檜扇二十枚, 蝙蝠扇二枚」，於宋元時期流入，北宋蘇轍(1039-1112)有《楊主簿日本扇》一詩，歌詠來自日本的扇面，扇面上展現了日本別具特色的民俗畫風。太祖朱元璋(1328-1398)賞賜群臣，自明朝持扇, 寫扇風氣日漸興盛，逐漸成為獨特的藝術表現，明代四大家沈周, 祝允明, 文徵明及唐寅等，皆有摺扇佳作傳世，形成士民共賞的摺扇藝術風華 ...
