  • Fledgling

I was taken right into this well written story of native american knowledge of beliefs and shamen ways itermingled in a story of heartfelt emotional lives of the main people in this story, I was near to tears when I read about Ana her life and illnesses had me reeling as it was as if the writter was discribing my persona, even down to the area and thoughts of how she delt with her daily life etc add in the one male she fell for and the bond that develops and why and how their story unfolds had me speechless, add in to this the writers style and ability to take you smoothly and swiftly between each person and what is happening at or to them at any one time, is purely brilliant, then you find you are on a fast flowing pace of information and discriptions that paint you a very clear pictur with precise and imaginative description you feel like you can see feel smell and hear what is going on through their eyes and emotions. Ii had never seen any book written by this author and was because of my like for supernatural things broughtvto this book and had no expectations but if I had had I would not have been left wanting as this book delivered it all a story of love and life we can all be faced with with a twist of using good background in native american belief's intermingled with a touch of heart felt sadness, romance and mythical beliefs entwined, I hope there are more and it becomes a series, I need to know where the pathway leads them to next and what develops ?.
