  • Hooked

An enjoyable read. It’s interesting all the way through. You like the main character, Samantha and can emphasis with her situation and story. It’s not a long story so it keeps moving forward in a clever way. So background and present days makes sense.

  • Salacious and surprising.

The juiciness you’d expect from a book like this is not lacking. But there is much more content around the struggles and societal reactions to Samantha X than there are glorified X-rated scenes. It’s good writing, and a little cheeky and a little defensive (rightly so).

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Hooked

It's a woman's account of her life in the sex industry. I found this book disappointing and boring. In my view this woman rambled on a lot, made broad assumptions about males and females based purely on her observations of working inside a brothel. She was a journalist so it you can understand why she writes the way she does. A journalist does not necessarily make a good writer!
