Shortly after the death of renowned socialist theorist Karl Marx, the trustee of his estate, Friedrich Engels, approaches Sherlock Holmes for help. As the mourners arrive in London for Marx’s funeral, a mystery unfolds that culminates in a showdown at Highgate Cemetery.
