    Love and Football

Nana Malone did her thing with book 2 in her new Playerseries. Love me some Dax, the bad boy, black sheep, and the football player like his grandfather. It was hard living up to that legacy. But he didn't care anymore until the day that Asha walked in and put him in his place. But she was off limits. She was his best friends baby sister. He owed Damn but the attraction between Dax and Asha was undeniably strong. He couldnt stay away. The sex scen were so hot and steamy. I love them as a couple. I love this story I wasn't ready for it to end. I'll be reading this book again soon.

    An engaging romance

A sports romance, there was tension, competitiveness and family pressure. Dax is a player, but under his bad boy image he is really a very likeable character, who has the whole weight of his sporting family breathing down his neck to perform. Asha is appointed as his PR manager and because the team is doing badly, her assignment is to "babysit" him, and ensure that he presents the best possible public image. Sparks fly, but the situation is further complicated by the fact that Asha is the sister of his best friend. As Dax's performance improves, he and Asha become more open with one another until their attraction becomes unavoidable. I enjoyed the interaction between Dax and Asha, however I thought he really had the family from hell! Apart from Asha's brother, her family isn't much better. When parents and grandparents live their ambitions through the younger generation, it leads to all sorts of undesirable behaviour. I enjoyed the love story, however did not understand the sports aspect of the book as I am unfamiliar with the game due to the fact that I live outside of the USA. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.

Another Great Read by Nana Malone!

OMG!! I loved this book. I was already a huge Nana Malone fan, this book made me love her even more. I mean really.....Sex aaaannndd football, it doesn't get any better than that!!!! There some one liners in this book that made me laugh out loud. Spoiler alert!!! Do not read this book when you are in public or with anything in your mouth (pun intended). I am a major football fan so I thought meh, a football book by a romance author... hmmmm. Well I was so wrong. The characters are so well developed that it is very easy to become engrossed in the story. Like most of Nana's leading ladies, Asha is so fly. I love to read about a smart woman, with a smart mouth and Asha covered those areas perfectly. And what can you say about Dax other than he is just straight up sexy. This was a great read!!

    Passion for the game...

Been a legacy is never easy for anyone, it always means that people expect many things from you and that must of the time you have to live up to someone else reputation. But what happens when this legacy, this last name, or this family relationship weights so much that it eclipses all of your hard work, but must importantly it threathens to destroy who you are so you can become what others expect you to be. Dax is going to find out that all of that does not really matter if you have your heart in the right place. Coming from similar backgrounds Asha and Dax will descover that having a powerful and extremly well known last name, instead of creating exiting opportunities and open you doors, usually works against you and all you can accomplish means nothing. Together they will prove that no matter who you are or where you come from, loving what you do and been good at it is the must important thing of all, specially if you have someone that believes in you even when you don't. Asha and Dax will make people forget their last names and all the baggage that comes with it in this very sexy interesting story, full of passion and a deep desire for both the game and for each other.

    Dax The Player

Living up to everyone's expectations wasn't easy. I love football. Reading about this player who wasn't playing up to his potential was fun. Seeing him toe the line for a young woman who was used to working in a man's world and didn't need help keeping the hounds away made for a strong female lead with a cushy center underneath all that bravado. Dax came from an all sports family starting with his grandfather's football stardom. Then they had winners in hockey, tennis, and more. He didn't believe he could ever live up his grandfather's record. But he could be a star player—in the clubs and off the field. Asha had a family of sports names to live up to as well. She'd always been pushed and pushed herself. Graduating college two years early, she wasn't even old enough to drink and found herself following the player she was promoting into clubs. She'd earned this promotions job with her own reputation. The player was Dax. Not only was he as hot and the bad boy flirt of his reputation, he was her brother's best friend. They make a concerted effort to keep things professional but when the heart starts with trick plays it isn't easy. Will they be able to reach their potential without ruining their careers? Will he be able to get past his reputation? When big brother asks Dax to keep an eye on his little sister, an eye was all he wanted touching her. Dax doesn't always follow directions. Don't pass on this steamy love story with two lovers you will not soon forget.
