    Dunstan

Brilliant. Conn Iggulden at his excellent best. Well researched and retold as historical fiction by the undoubted master of said craft. As will all other works by Conn Iggulden I thoroughly recommend this book.

    Another good Iggulden book

Once again Conn Iggulden did not disappoint, he tells the story of Dunstan in an easy to read style with just the right balance between fiction and historical fact. A very relaxing read

    Disappointing

Usual Conn Igullden's books flow and are a fantastic read that you can't put down. Dunstan, unfortunately, is most certainly not one of those. Slow, turgid, disjointed there is just nothing about this book that recommends it. If you have not got the ingredients to make a great book, it is better that it isn't written .

The writing is good but the story wasn't of great interest to me.

Not a page turnee like his others, had moments of real interest but just didn't capture my attention like conqueror or emperor

    An truly enjoyable read

Perhaps I have been affected by the relevance to The Last Kingdom, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It sits well alongside Cornwell's series, though tyere is much less of the warrior in Dunstan.
