    An engrossing read

Reviewed by Jose Cornelio for Readers' Favorite SkyView: Lord of the Wills by M Sheehan is a wonderful story filled with intrigue and adventure. William Ward started working for The Interlaken Beer Company during his summers in high school, first having a student job, and eventually securing a position in the company. During the company party, hosted to celebrate its seven hundred years in business, he stumbles on an important piece of information: one of the founding fathers of the company was a William Ward. Was he an ancestor of his or is that name just coincidental? He sets out to discover the truth and this starts an adventure to take him and his team through a historical journey that unveils dark secrets, corruption, and evil. A tale that involves eight family lines. William is determined to root out the leader and heir of the evil family line. This is a breathtaking adventure with history, business culture, and fascinating technology. The characters are rock-solid and I adored the young protagonist. William Ward is intelligent and driven. His companions are also exceptionally developed characters. Parts, where they use a rare technology in the jet to project history on the landscapes, were very interesting. The writing is excellent and from the onset, I enjoyed the deft use of dialogues, which the author uses to bring life to the narrative. SkyView: Lord of the Wills has a strong premise and the conflict is introduced in the first paragraphs. From then on, the plot becomes more sophisticated as one turns from page to page. M Sheehan’s novel is well-imagined and skillfully written, an engrossing read.

    A great plot

Reviewed by Gobi Jane for Readers' Favorite SkyView: Lord of the Wills by M Sheehan tells the story of a young man who suddenly discovers that he might be an heir to great wealth and sets out to dig into the story of his ancestry and how that wealth managed to land in the wrong hands. During the party of The Interlaken Beer Company, hosted to celebrate seven hundred years of business, William Ward accidentally discovers that his name is featured among those of the founding fathers of a company that has grown from humble beginnings as a brewery to investments in various industries such as hotels, aerospace, oil and gas, renewables, health, and space exploration. He is intrigued and wants to find out more. His curiosity sets him on an investigation that will unveil grave acts of corruption, dirty secrets, and shady connections. But can he destroy the evil line that has gotten hold of the fortune? I was hooked from the opening pages and became interested to find out what William Ward would do with the information he just found out. He is an inquisitive character and as he begins to check information about the company, he is pulled into a mystery that involves eight family lines. The author fills the story with surprising twists and elements of science like the state-of-the-art jet that has the technology to project real historical events onto landscapes. The story contains hints of mystery and crime with characters that are not just sophisticated but shrouded in mystery. SkyView: Lord of the Wills features characters that are so interesting that one may not mind when a few of them veer off the trail. Brilliant novel

Reviewed by K.C. Finn for Readers' Favorite SkyView: Lord of the Wills is a work of fiction in the action, science fiction, mystery, and historical fiction sub-genres, and was penned by author M. Sheehan. This epic yet fast-paced story takes readers through several centuries in its sweeping narrative, where we discover the tale of feuding families who are on the hunt for wealth that has accumulated over many years. With the aid of an augmented reality projector, modern-day heir William Ward is able to watch and learn the history in real time. So begins an epic chase for the fortune that some will stop at nothing to get their hands on, even if they don’t truly deserve it. Author M. Sheehan has crafted a highly unusual work of action-packed chase fiction that combines its historical and science fiction elements seamlessly to create a credible and highly engaging plot. I loved the unique premise and method by which we could learn the historical path of the families and their fortunes, exploring through William’s eyes and growing closer to him as the journey intensifies. The book really is a page-turner because there’s always something new to discover, and the plot twists quickly into sudden new realizations, often with a devastating impact on the rest of the tale. I also really liked the dialogue, which stood out as very effective for both characterization and exposition of the plot. Overall, I would recommend SkyView for fans of science fiction and historical crossovers, as this is a brilliantly conceptualized novel that doesn’t disappoint in its delivery.
