The Dark Arcana have marked us.If anyone with a crystal ball and a halfway decent deck of Tarot cards ever predicted I’d be sharing a gorgeous house with four insanely-hot mages and the best witch-sisters a girl could ask for, I would’ve called it a dream. The reality is a nightmare. The mages and witches in this house? We're fugitives, forced into hiding by magickal fanatics bent on stealing our power and burning the world to the gro...

Magick is real. It's also highly illegal—not that I'm worried about that.Sure, I heal faster than most, and I've got a sixth sense for brewing tea that can fix just about any problem, but my café isn't exactly a hotbed of paranormal activity. At least it wasn't . . . until some psycho attacked me and woke up the freaky, forbidden magick inside, earning me a one-way ticket to jail. Now, a covert magickal university is offering me a deal: my freedom in exchange for h...

How dark are you willing to go for the ones you love? Our enemy claims that the darkness lives in all Arcana. That in a world of light and shadow, one cannot exist without the other. That we're all but one tragedy away from giving in. Even the mages who've sworn to love and protect me. Even me—the Star herself. We call ourselves the Light Arcana, but you know what? The enemy's right. I've seen that darkness. Tasted it. Felt it flickering inside me li...

No one said it would be easy. No one promised we'd escape unscathed. When Baz, Kirin, and I ventured into the dream realm in search of the sacred Arcana objects, we had no idea what the Dark Arcana had in store for us. No idea that our darkest, most deeply-hidden terrors would follow us back home. Now, Baz is haunted by monsters from the past none of us can see, let alone defeat. Kirin is wrestling with a heartbreaking accident that fractured his family a dec...

I spent my whole life believing magick was a curse—and that I didn't have enough of it to worry about, anyway.Turns out I was wrong on both counts. I'm so much more than a magick-blessed Academy student. I'm an Arcana Witch, bound to a sacred order whose sole duty is to protect magick—and one another—at all costs. Thankfully, I'm not alone. My Arcana magick brought four fiercely loyal, impossibly sexy Arcana mages into my life. But it also brought trouble. C...

Unlike traditional music, film music sources are often difficult to locate and do not follow the patterns that researchers are trained to identify. Although there have been several self-described introductions to the field and articles that summarize the problems and state of research, there is no resource that gathers together all of the basic information that is vital to film music research. In this volume, Jeannie Gayle Pool and H. Stephen Wright address the difficulties scholars encoun...

The aim of this report is to help us imagine a better common economic life, one which rewards allthe stakeholders in business, rather than privileging the shareholding few. Such a move can anddoes benefit people, planet and profit, but it will only do so when we move from a story fuelled byextraction to one formed by creation. The authors of this report work in politics, economics andmanagement, but are also trained in theology. As such they are steeped in the deep stories that haveshaped ...

Our family is broken. Our hearts are shattered. Everything we’ve been fighting for is slipping through our hands like mist.Darkwinter fae murdered one of my mates. And the Dark Goddess won’t stop coming for us until she drains the last of my magick and reclaims Midnight for herself. But as much as I’d love to curl up under a blanket and wait for death, I can’t give up now.
