You can also start your free Kobo Plus trial on a Kobo eReader.

You won't be charged for the first 14 days. After the free trial period, we'll charge you $9.99 a month for a Kobo Plus Read or Kobo Plus Listen subscription, or $12.99 a month for Kobo Plus Read & Listen, plus any applicable taxes, unless you cancel. Your credit card will not be charged if you cancel before the trial period is over.

Yes, you can read offline. Many readers like to disconnect their devices from Wi Fi, either while travelling, or simply to save on battery life. You can read a maximum of 15 Kobo Plus books while offline over a 30-day period on a Kobo eReader or in the Kobo App.

Once you've opened 15 books, or reached the end of the 30-day period of offline reading, you'll need to reconnect to Wi Fi and sync your eReader or app. You'll then be able to open up to 15 Kobo Plus books for another 30 days.

Currently, Kobo Plus subscriptions are exclusively available in select countries. If you change your billing address to another country while you have an active subscription, you'll still have access to your Kobo Plus books until you reach the end of your current billing period, but you won't be able to search for or add new Kobo Plus titles to your subscription.
