Live Til I Die is set back against the backdrop of the turbulent years of World War II. It is loosely based on the authors fathers experiences as a decorated spitfire pilot. The human drama is mostly fictional but does have some elements of family history in it. The war effort is described mainly from a Canadian perspective and primarily from the point of view of war in the air.
