Librarian Ana is frustrated with the her job and how dehumanizing it has become. She, along with the rest of her co-workers are convinced that there is something wrong with their supervisor, Lilian.It turns out that, "she" is and evil robot, set out to turn all the workers into mindless slaves. She will not stop until she reaches the domination of all humans!

Twenty-two-year-old biology major, Amanda, gets more than she bargains for after a strange encounter. A young man named Joe, who claims to be from 1967, comes looking for answers. When Amanda takes him under her wing, she notices that she can't help but be attracted to him. Will her attraction interfere with her helping Joe find his way home?

"Midnight Stanzas" contains works which are both old and new. The old works are Jen's contributions to an unpublished chapbook, while the new poems, all written in 2017, are only published in this book.

"Sweet Salvation" is a compilation of poems which were written during the time when Jen started dating her husband. Many of the works are dedicated to him.

"Night and Day" is a collection of poems written by Jen in 1999 and 2000. These works express both her dark and her light sides, while she concentrates mainly on love.

"Angels Overhead" is another book of poetry which Jen had written during the 1990s. These works encapsulate many thoughts and feelings of her youth.

"Thin Lines" was written at what the author, aesthetically, thought to be the prime of her life. During the summer of 2004, Jen was obsessed with physical fitness and appearance.

"Forgiveness Lies Beyond" is the story of Angela Syphers. For the last fifteen years, there has been tension between Angela and her younger sister, Barbara. In 1996, Barbara stole Angela's boyfriend, Richard Wilson, and they ended up getting married two years later. Angela learns that only through her faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ, will she ever be able to really forgive Barbara and Richard.

"Eternity" is a collection of poems mostly dedicated to Jen's loved ones and celebrities who have inspired her work.

"Bookends" is a book of poems which were written in a sticky note journal which Jen purchased at a library conference.

"Ten Second Song: Poems Inspired by Genesis" is a tribute to the first band to release an album under that name.The book is dedicated to Fred Rivera.

"Fighting for Victory," in a way, serves as a second volume to "Impressionable Youth," in that its contents are similar and were written around the same time.
