  • Coexist

Keegan is an elf and when she turns eighteen she'll meet her chosen, Rourk (the elf male that completes her). She's not really suppose to know his name, but her brother Thaddeus, a seer, told her when she was it, but Rourk often watches her from a distance when she thinks of him. One day Keegan and her 2 best friends, Anna and Lauren, go to a fair where she bumps into a dark elf. Keegan's friends don't know that she's an elf, so she tries not to make a big deal about it. Her family tells her that there is going to be a big war between light and dark elves. Supposedly, Thaddeus will take a big part of the war. Only one side is supposed to prevail. Awhile before the war, she goes to a concert with her friend and finds herself in trouble. Rourk comes to her rescue and Keegan can't believe she saw him before her time. He quickly leaves after making sure everything's okay. There are some major things that happen during and after the war, so I won't go into anyone because I'd probably spoil it. For the most part, I liked Keegan. There were at times I thought she was a little spoiled but not that bad. Rourk was definitely the star of this story I love him and live the concept of having a chosen. Even though Keegan and Rourk didn't know each other alot and had an instant-love connection, I could definitely tell they cared alot about each other. I love that this book is centered on a paranormal creature that really isn't touched in young adult paranormal books. I loved this book.

  • Very teenage

I had to read till the end but there were a lot of spelling and grammar issues in the beginning. Its also more of a pre teen book then a teenage book, if that makes sense...
