    Excellent Conclusion

So sad to see this series end! I've loved it from the beginning and the ending did not disappoint with some great plot twists, particularly when it comes to the final battle. Amazing, complex characters, cool paranormal elements, and a romance at its heart that you have to root for and love.

Lovely ending to an enjoyable series

I rather liked the way this installment ties the series up neatly and satisfyingly. An enjoyable series altogether, perfect for casual reading. If you don't know the series yet, I would advise starting at the beginning, as in my opinion the parts are best read in order and don't really stand alone.

Deosil by Jordan L. Hawk (Whyborne & Griffin #11)

Well, I can heartily recommend book. I stayed up ridonkulously late to finish it and didn't regret it for an instant. I can't say as much about it as I would like to, because spoilers, but it was an awesome ride and Jordan yet again proved why I adore his writing, buying book, after book, after book, until almost half my reader library seems to be under 'H'. Every character is awesome — even the secondary and background characters — the villains make sense in their own POV, and the monsters are creepily goosebump-worthy; let's just say that if this were a movie I'd be raving about the special effects. Those of you who get vivid mental images when you read will know what I mean. I enjoyed the reread of this series leading up to this final book, and it's definitely a series I will be rereading again and again going forward.
