    Thanks for your feedback!

    Wait, what?

OK, so admittedly the language of hockey can be very strange to the uninitiated, but this book is not even in English. Such a poor translation (not sure from what, but clearly based on a guide to soccer) that it was impossible to read (at least with a straight face). A gem for your reading pleasure, from Article 31 “The Penalty Kick” (seriously): “From this moment, the goalkeeper can try stopping the puck with all his means, excepting throwing the hockey stick, because, in this case, it will be awarded a point. ... During executing the penalty kick, the players of the two teams must draw off toward the lateral ball cushions of the field.” Other highlights include Article 43: “If after the three half times of twenty minutes each the result is equal, the match is counted as ‘equal’.” All told, I don’t know any more about hockey; on the bright side, it is definitely providing AT LEAST $4 worth of laughs.
