    Excellent

An excellent read!! A second chance story with a twist that can only be done by Jackie Ashenden. Bounty hunter, Nora Sutcliffe, finally found her man. Finding him in a sleazy biker bar isn't unexpected. What shocks her is coming face to face with Smith. Her young love and the man she should have stood behind and didn't. Eight years later he's bigger, tougher, and the president of the MC that her skip belongs to. Things just got real complicated! Smith knows he can never give up one of his brothers but getting a little revenge isn't something he can resist. He never understood why Nora left him hanging the way she did and he plans on finding out now. These two are sizzling hot and it's interesting to see how their lives have changed. I definitely recommend this one.

    Match meets dynamite

In this installment, we have a dark and twisted male lead and a strong-willed female lead, a past that's carrying a whole lot of hurt, anger, and revenge. Bounty hunter Nora Sutcliff walks into a bar to collect a skip and comes face to face with the one man who has the ability to tear down everything she has built for herself. For Smith, Nora is the only woman he dared to open his heart to and then she betrayed him in the worst way. When he left all those years, time and circumstances turned him into a hardened bitter and slightly disillusioned man. Nora on the other hand, buried her dreams and emotions so far down that it became pretty easy to ignore their existence. So now that I've given you this little teaser, you can expect plenty of emotional blackmail, anger, and hot & heavy romance too. So get clicking and grab a copy of this emotionally explosive book. make it hurt

Make it hurt is another great book in the series. I must say I did enjoy in reading about Smith and Nora. When meet Nora in the first book in the wildest dream didn’t I expected her past to turned out to be like it did. And her personality is completely different like she shows us on the outside. If it wasn’t for the Smith we would not discover the real Nora. Those two are interesting characters. What are they today is result from their first relationship from 8 years ago. Smith has so much anger in him and he wants revenge. But punishment becomes a pleasure and one night will never be enough. Smith’s mood was like jo-jo he liked her but hated her, wanted but denied. Nora had burned all her feelings deep inside her. But Smith has found a way and turned her upside down. Intense story with both strong and stubborn characters that have explosive passion between them. And they burn it out in two very hot sizzling nights. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

    Lighthearted and fun

3.5 Stars I don't know where I got the idea that this series would be all about the Redmond brothers and I was expecting this story to be about Rush. To be honest, even though the blurb had promise I had to go back to the first book to figure out who Nora was and how she fit into the series. From debutante to bounty hunter is a long way to go but for Nora Sutcliffe, being known as one of the best in the business is everything to her and a far cry from the helpless and clueless debutante she was in a previous life. Her reputation in the business is everything and she won't let any skip mar it, so she's bold enough to brave a biker bar to get her man except she does not expect to come face to face with her past. Eight years ago, Smith was a young man trying to make a living until he fell for the princess in the tower and lost everything. A stint in the military and finding his biker brotherhood have changed him in many ways, but a chance to exact some payback is not one to pass up. A story about a debutante-turned-bounty hunter and a biker definitely was intriguing and Nora and Smith were strong and well-matched characters. I think the author nailed the emotional angle of this story especially the complexity of their relationship, and the chemistry between them was scorching hot. Both of them had very hard exteriors that had been forged by circumstances, but they were each other's weakness and could very easily bring out each other's vulnerable side. I liked seeing Smith the emotionally open man as compared to the hard biker he was with his men. Nora on the other hand was a bit annoying with her avoidance of the issues and her refusal to acknowledge her past missteps. My only issue was that this story focused a lot on their present and there were only few and brief flashes to their past. Their past had a lot of influence on their choices and their present and I wish that the author had expanded on that to fully develop their characters and flesh out this story. Overall, it was an enjoyable, lighthearted and hot romance and I am looking forward to reading more in the series. Disclaimer: I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
