    Thanks for your feedback!

Great first book in a new comic fantasy series.

In this, the first book in the Dragons and Magic series, we are introduced to Edmond and the world that he lives in. This is a world where babies are given the attributes and skills that they will need to make their way in life. These attributes are chosen by the parents when the child is born. So, for example, strength, speed and dexterity to become a hero in later life. Unfortunately, Edmond is the child of village idiots who give him Luck so that they can use him to win money. He and his parents are chased out of a small town for trying a scam. As this is not the first time that this has happened, they are rapidly running out of places to live. The action is fast and very enjoyable and is spiced with the humor that typifies books by the combination of Simon Cantan and Dave Higgins. It is a short book, but is a great introduction to this comic fantasy series and I can't wait to find out what happens next. This review is of a pre published copy and is my honest opinion.
